I see that MC is close to value of listed AIM stocks ~£1.83m so discount could be down to nature/type of the other investments.

To add to your summary, I think CDT is closer to £230k today and due a massive uptick! Aeristech original investment was £350k and Weshop has a book value of £427k, neither of which are liquid and tradeable. Mode suspended so let's call it £0

Plus the NAV has materially dropped in value since last update. At Q1, CDT was mid $3s compared to closer to $1 at Q2 close.

SGS Accounts for YE 31 Dec 22 published. SGS owned 11.25% of CDT pre merger. Sold 1/3 of their holding for £2.1m and converted balance into 4.7m shares. Imagine how much of a hit this SP fall has cost them, unless they managed to sell a few in the $5 range.

That would be a £2m decrease since last quarter update, just on CDT alone. A mix across other investments, some up, others down. Next update will be a miserable read in 3 - 6 months. On a positive note, the delta between mcap and NAV is reducing!!

Yep, CDT have made it clear that they are not progressing the Covid indication. So for now, it is going nowhere and seems to have Nil value at least until there is some sort of ownership and further trial and/or commercialisation clarification. What does this mean for the CDT business model?

The section on EML is poorly written and not sure what they are exactly getting at. Is Igraine challenging AZD1656 ownership claims by CDT? May explain why EML/UKRI were not part of the CDT share option process. Is this the reason CDT SP is dropping? Could be interesting for Vela with a foot in both camps.

I would expect that "proposal to inject additional equity capital of up to £15 million" will result in massive dilution for current PIs.
