A broken rig is problematic..... Refused drilling permits are problematic.....a dry well is problematic.... Afew late works visas issues caused by some halfwit in the office not sending them to out in time is just a silly oversight. We are still drilling so fill your boots at this ridiculously low SP...any RNS of oil shows will have us +50p in the blink of an eye on a few short months from now.

Maybe MB was pointing the finger....at least he has been honest with shareholders. Looks like the buyers have returned...what a steal of a price!

If Sinopec are abit slow sorting the visas....how does that reflect so badly of Mike Buck and MATD????...he has clearly stated everything else is set to go for the 1st July....we should all be shouting from the rooftops with a brass band down below!!

Each to their own.....but I think you may end up regretting that move fundraiser...once the market accepts we are drilling in July this will be back to mid 30's.

Sinopec may well want in.....the billions of barrels right on their doorstep with cheap labour costs...perfect for the ever hungry and all consuming Chinese economy. Can you imagine if it wasn't Sinopec we are using and went with one of the American or Norwegian giants instead....the nay Sayers would be declaring the Chinese don't want anything to do with our drill as there is no oil there and they know best! Some people here will still be pouring cold water on MATD even when we hit the black gold in a few months time.

I find it very strange that so many here are still living in the past and keep bringing up mistakes of the past...yes il agree we have had a few frustrating years with drilling being delayed for one reason or another but we now have a new boss who is here to get the job done. Some here think Mr Buck just makes a call and says get a rig and 40 guys to the drill site then puts his feet up oon the desk...and any problems are down to him! It's a political nightmare with China and Mongolia.... Sinopec.... Safety regs....environmental permits...drilling permits going back and forth between legal teams... And feck knows what else....but all some here are moaning about are a few work visas! ....I'm delighted that's all we have to worry about...my guess is some but not all are already sorted....another RNS next week to say all sorted will finally silence to doom merchants....until they adopt another half baked conspiracy theory in an attempt to pour water on what could well be the find of the year....and with oil just over a buck from $80 there has never been a better time in MATD's history to drill.

we were up 3% earlier bish... regardless.... my guess is that with oil just a few cents fro 78bucks and climbing and drilling dates announced 6 weeks from now this share will be sharply on the up.

Petro Matad An operational update from Petro Matad this morning and having met with Mike Buck recently I am slowly being re-converted to the faithful. There has been a slight delay but the Snow Leopard 1 well should spud on block V in July and followed by Wild Horse on block 1V �seamlessly�. Snow Leopard is targeting 90 MMbo of resources potential but having been recently upgraded Wild Horse is targeting 490 MMbo. Over at block XX the tender process is complete and the permitting process is progressing �smoothly� and is still on schedule to drill late 3Q or early 4Q. Exciting times for MATD lately and whilst the shares are already up around 60% on the quarter these wells offer significant size of prospect and so one couldnt rule out further rally on any success.

all I would say to any punters thinking of taking a position here is don't wait to long...when this gets rolling its full steam ahead...a double bagger within weeks here?...I would certainly think so imho.

..and with Oil price predicted to keep rising this year, the numbers involved here are pretty mind boggling considering are current Mcap.... saying there is a big upside just don't cut it...its absolutely massive.

yep...come July the fence sitters will be kicking themselves at missing this entry price.
