Bellzone Mining (LON:BZM) shares were appealing to shareholders after it announced an extension to its funding facility after the market closed last night.

Trading in the company's shares resumed on Friday, and investors climbed on board, pushing the share price up to 2.875p; when trading in the company's shares was suspended on 28 October, they were changing hands at just 0.52p.

They should announce the price ASAP like Ukog did when placing leaked so as to give sp floor

Sorry been a watcher of BCN for some time eg pre listing....
I was somewhat shocked at the mkt cap considering the asset value.

My point simply was being as the company have not denied it it implies that a discounted placing will be required as part of the funding gap, this is by no means unusual and I for one will be buying once this has been clarified.

I think the point is they have not denied there will be an equity raise

Any deal and you won't see those putting the boot in now for dust.
Port Deal = income, income = Hudson off our back, Hudson off back = DFS back on.

IMHO there is a good chance of a compromise resolution here.

I don't buy into the Hudson sham theory and I believe we are simply seeing a game of brinksmanship here and the final resolution will be a deal, but not an optimal one in the terms Julian was referring to on last conf call. Any deal gives either a lump sum or income stream – that gives Hudson sight of the debt being paid down.

We have a legal battle and apparently are after new ventures......no prizes for guessing where the funds will come from..

Considering we are suspended I am struggling to see the motivation for the posts questioning the validity of the port and the proposed deal....it's not like folks can be scared into selling their shares is it.....
The next RNS either see a huge re rate or zero return on investment......and there is nothing anyone can do about that.

I believe its the other way round...and the bulk sample was actually delayed being shipped due to months of uncertainty with funding. This probably started when Hudson vetoed the right to do a placing.

Once again I agree with this……….they could have pulled the rug out at any time in the last few years.
The simple question is why are they so determined to do it now…as I said they did not wake up one day and say I am bored with BZM lets just write off our huge investment.

They are pushing the BOD into a corner for a reason...
My money is on a port deal, the potential annual revenue from the port is huge(coming from horses mouth Julian on last shareholder call) so let's say Hudsons 'mates' either want full ownership (IMHO quite feasible) or a hugely discounted rate for bauxite exports - which of course would immediately remove insolvency but not be optimal in terms of revenue.

EyeGuy - I agree with your points it makes no sense to anyone - except Hudson.
You don't write off approx. £45 mill of investments/loans when you could have simply handed over a couple of mill from the agreed facility to progress the DFS and of course substantially increase the value of your 51% holding.

So whatever Hudson are doing those that are suggesting they simply got fed up and pulled the plug are bordering on lunacy.

Whatever is being discussed on the port Hudson clearly believe its viable and can be done near term and want to force the issue.

The only alternative view that makes any sense is they are convinced if insolvency proceeds they will pick up the mining rights to all BZM assets.

With the amount of money swilling around Guineau at present I am staggered the govt have not stepped in to sort this mess.

I hope I am wrong re corruption, but imho Hudson won’t wipe out their equity and debt unless they are getting either a port deal or the whole shebang

Whether it land or infra my point is if either were an issue there would be no talks going on. As stated imho it’s either Hudson in bed with govt and know they will take the lot in liquidation.,. Or they are forcing bzm to accept a lowball offer that benefits them

would the BOD be in negotiations with a suitor...

Tadpole that would be nice but I have got a sinking feeling on this .... The only saving grace as I said is they are actually pursuing monetising the port which would imply if they get an agreement Hudson go for it. If Hudson were to veto any deal then surely there is no point having any discussion....

1. Hudson have fully shafted us and have received assurances that post liquidation they will be allowed transfer of ownership, and as such consider the loans that they will write off as a cheap way to seize assets.. 2. Hudson will in some way benefit from whatever sh9te deal we get on Konya port. I’m done on AIM regardless sick of the corruption and manipulation. If Hudson get the lot it implies govt were on board...
