Interesting - the same article also writes,
‘On Friday, Tanzania also announced that it would no longer sign new mineral development agreements (MDAs), which guarantee a stable tax regime for existing mining companies.’
Which seems to acknowledge that existing licenses have this guarantee and therefore the proposed increases already being taken into account will fall away for ACA. The article also goes on to say that 27 companies have expressed an interest in building a sand smelter - good news - I am sure if they build it we would be happy to use it - but I am also sure they will want the revenue generated from the sale of the stock piled concentrate as quickly as possible - it is only cash flow to us it is heat, light, power, roads, schools even food on the table for the Tanzanian people.
