It’s good to have a plan. I like KAZ but do not understand the price swings that happen every day/week. If KAZ does go to 85p then I will buy a lot of them and be prepared to wait as long as it takes for them to recover. Not surprising perhaps that I disagree with your view on ACA but if you are right then so be it - whatever the fall the rise will be significantly when the issues are resolved let alone the premium if the Chinese buy in - I will still be holding possibly adding and waiting for our day in the sun. And not wishing to miss the opportunity to bang my favourite drum if the company start a buyback program then the shorters are finished here and the price can settle at a more realistic price say £2.50/&3.0 before the conclusion of negotiations.

Morning T, I agree the crash has to come in the equity market - it always does and is overdue. Although the value of Aca has ultimately to be linked to price of gold personally I believe it is much more affected at the moment by ongoing negotiations with GOT, that surely cannot be in doubt. I think we are agreed that those clever people in the city are perfectly capable of driving the gold price down in preparation of their switch from equity to gold just before the rest of us realise the correction has arrived. I have to ask, if not now then what price are you hoping for to get in here and are you prepared to pay more, possibly much more, to buy in on a clear upward trend when our issues are all sorted?

MW raised their short position slightly by 0.03% but enough to push them up to 0.51% and so reported. It’s appears they are not done with us yet. As of 25th July reported shorts now 1.1%.

It has been pointed out that there is yet to be an RNS from ACA concerning the future of its Chairman KD. I had put this down to shoddy reporting but as time goes by I am becoming curious as to what else it could mean? Possibly that the powers that be believe that ACA will cease to exist at the same time as KD leaves or is that just wishful thinking on my part and they are just very slow off the mark?

I think it will be sorted before KD leaves - that is the honourable thing to do. They must give 14 days notice before an EGM so I am going to guess we will know within the next 2 weeks.

They would not have to use much of the cash certainly under $5 million- this would not be lost money but a real investment.

Hi Franky - looking at you comment re increased shorting and although common sense does not prevail and I have certainly not called this right all the way down (remain hopeful that one day I will be), I think as ACA have proved that they can remain in profit despite what they are going through. Surely at this level the shorters are taking a far greater risk than those of us that go long. Compare the possible downside to the potential reward - whatever we think of them shorters do a lot of work and research to make a profit and there are better opportunities out there for them.

Disappointingly having skimmed through I can find no mention of ACA or Tanzania in the report - hopefully it will be brought up and discussed tomorrow. On a more positive note Sally from investor relations emailed me to confirm that my suggestion concerning share buyback has been passed onto the board. I hope that events will overtake us and the buyback will not be necessary but I am glad that it will be considered if no progress soon.

Hi Super. From looking at the rules for this code do the options have to involve ACA,by that I mean could they be options be granted between two companies? One taking an option to purchase from the other, although if that were the case surely we would see it a lot more?

No Stock - whatever that 2.8m was it was reversed later so although unusual - did not happen at all. Or both happened and one of them was wrongly reported as a buy or a sell. Make of that what you want but the exercise of options will not go through the market as shares are effectively bought from the company- sale of shares to pay tax would go through market.

So lower price they exercise at the less tax due. Nil cost options are thankfully rare and in my experience issued when a sale is contemplated.

Super do you by any chance recall what the option price is?
