RE : Re: 2014 Optare's Year30 Mar 2014 21:10
Good evening Ettienne, thank you for this mornings post. Very informative and answers a question that I raised here on 26th Feb. In fact the post's heading was ' Is Ettienne still around ? '. The question I was asking was directed towards yourself. I wrote, ' I seem to recall reading somewhere that if/when Optare hit profit they will be entitled to a £9.4 million tax rebate. Does this sound plausible or have I dreampt that'. A fellow poster, who I appreciate answering my question, suggested I was right on the rebate but in fact it was £11.85 million. How ironic that on Friday I post, using the wrong terminology 'Tax Rebate', and I am very pleased that caught your attention and you have posted. I am also grateful that you have, as your post has helped me understand a bit more with regards to the question I asked a month ago. I had a feeling at the time of posting you may know the answer. So, I do apologise if I mislead anyone on Friday when I posted with regards the 'Tax Rebate'. I was not at home at the time and did not have my notes with me with regards this share. I was indeed referring to what I had read with regards the 'Deferred Tax', published in Optare's Annual Report and accounts 2013. From your post would I be correct in saying that I should not factor in the deferred tax and not to use it in any of my own calculations, as it is highly unlike to add anything in value to our SP ?
