Belgium announced on Friday that its Doel 3 nuclear reactor will disconnect from the grid and cease operations, even as the country fears blackouts this winter. I've just checked my ISA account, to discover I have 41 less shares in GSK, than when we split from Haleon. Hello I thought, what's going on here, spoke to the helpdesk, only to find that a few days after the split, GSK did a 4 for 5 share split, it's bad enough that the share price has dropped from £18, but a 20% drop in the number of shares, is taking the ****......'' There was no free lunch here, the value of your investment after the split and consolidation should match (not including market forces)
