Once enough frackers fail and go bankrupt again the banks will stop lending to them.And while all this is happening the underinvestment of the past few years is catching up due to well depletion. There are a lot of frackers who are profitable at 30 -40 dollars.It is not only the majors who have learned to cost cut. The good thing as far as the majors are concerned is that a lot of the shale outfits went bankrupt and the banks are wary of financing again.A quick turn on the taps by OPEC and they would go down again. The big fellers can run at a loss for a long time. They run the show.

Yes - as Bigbadbaz confirms - since April 2016, we each have a very generous allowance of £5000 of tax free dividend income per annum.
