RE: Holdings1 Nov 2021 12:36
We sent the following email to Anna Dunphy last Friday (29th Oct), and we are currently waiting her reply:-
Hi Anna,
We are confused by the published Substantial Shareholders holdings published in the Genedrive plc website.
We think that these are the Share holdings they held prior to the recent 'Placing' and 'Open Offer'
, and that they do not necessarily have to declare their holdings unless they drop below 3% ?
However, if they did not take up any Shares in the Open Offer, and we know there was a low uptake, approx 24.6% of the 18,091,442 shares on offer, then GHIF's published holding of 2,700,000 shares stated below would now represent 2.9421% of the 91,770,900 shares in issue = <3%.
In the case of Spreadex Ltd their published holding of 2,123,478 would now represent 2.3138% of the 91,770,900 shares in issue = also <3%.
Either their published share holdings and/or their % holdings of the 91,770,900 shares in issue Must be incorrect ?
Is Genedrive PLC taking any action to correct these published holdings ?
We would of thought that where there has been the issue of new shares, increasing the total shares in issue, substantial shareholders would be obliged to declare their shares held, in order to correct the below publication ? This is particularly the case for GHIF and Spreadex holdings ?
Kind Regards,
