Certainly there is questions to be answered around contract awards, and the balls up around Testing ?
However, with the UK government's proposed £100bn Moonshot Project, I would have thought that there would be a need to call on GDR, in order to meet such a Massive demand ? ( Litigation set aside).
I do believe GDR will have their hands full supplying USA; India and Africa demands.
So whether the UK and GDR are able to come to any supply agreement, is difficult to comprehend, with so much business to be had elsewhere, and DB's overall knowledge of current demand ?

GDR have said that Cytiva can increase their manufacture of Beads, currently quoted at: 10, 000 Beads in a 8hr shift.
Whether that increase is through more shifts worked per day, and/or more Production Lines/machinery/Equipment - ?

These are the calculations I posted yesterday, hope this helps:

1,000 PCR samples per Biomek, in 8 hours, with 2 Biomek per site = 2,000 PCR samples per site in 8 hours.
In a 16hr day = 4,000 PCR samples per day/per site.
20 sites = 80,000 samples per day, and 30 sites = 120,000 PCR samples per day.

1 sample = 1 Bead
