I have no idea about the differences between SETS. No idea. So I'm not so sure what you've been so clever about.

I know a lot of PIs rely and stops. So why didn't you say that the point YOU were making does not apply to retail broker systems? Why the vague smoke and mirrors and obfuscation?

Or is it the case that you copied and pasted something without reading it, suddenly was made aware of a significant fact that could dissuade people from holding, and so you've quickly peddled out an ASSUMPTION the retail broker stops are not affected?

My advice to anybody who uses stops is to contact you broker directly and ask if the trading mechanism change at the exchange affects any services such as orders or stops for your account. Others would be grateful for you to post your info on here.

This is another major issue I consider when evaluating whether there would be a return in a few years. The local sp in KZ might multiply, say 10 times from day's price. 1 KZT = 0.001839 GBP so if POLY is 2.30 GBP now, that is 1,250 KZT.

So, POLY in KZ goes up to 12,500 KZT over 3 years. Do you think if you sell you will get 22.98 GBP paid into your bank account in UK.

I doubt it. If countries can use their own currency instead of a reference currency, it won't be long before countries will be printing money, unsecured, and you will get inflation, high inflation, and then hyper inflation. And looking at the countries involved in BRICS, many are not the sort that can be relied on to play by the rules [at all]. How will they be sanctioned when stepping out of line? And then there will be the sanctions for defaulting on outstanding dollar based debt. And from that exchange rates going in one direction - and not a favourable one.

And this applies to the dividends paid out from KZ too. A few billion KZT might exchange after excessive taxes into just a couple of hundred quid in3 years time instead of the thousand you were dreaming of. I expect plenty of 'Zimbabwe' economic crashes with all the corruption and lack of discipline amongst BRICS.

Will KZ avoid that? What kind of regime and governance is their now?

If you took me to court in three years, the court would ask one question. Did you make a financial loss based on big-blue's advice. Answer is no. You can not lose a gain you have not yet made. Case dismissed.

If I take Dibs to court in three years time, the question asked would be, did I make the return promised. Answer no. Case won. Why? Endowment mortgages. The principle for being liable if you mis-sell is well and truly established in case law now. Hence the mandatory caveats, about the value of investments and losing everything.
