sundexena,
that article made me laugh out loud. One check of the biog of the author shows why;
"Crispus Nyaga is a self-taught financial analyst and trader with more than seven years in the industry"
and a chartist spewing chartist numpty hocus-pocus triangles and black lines.
His reporting was also a 30 ft pile of bull crap. BA did not announce a return to flying transatlantic routes.
" Chief Executive
Sean Doyle said on Wednesday.
"There's an immediate opportunity to open up the U.S.,"
Doyle said during CAPA Live, an online industry event.
With the two countries "more or less mirroring each other"
on vaccination, Doyle said, "that should lead to the UK and the
U.S. being able to lead the way in terms of opening up."
Transatlantic re-opening would play to the network strengths
of British Airways and parent group IAG, he added. "The breadth
and depth of the network we have provided there historically has
been a competitive advantage for us.""
That is all aspirational, if this then that. Indeed Crispus Nyaga's report should be pulled as it is materially in accurate and misleading. He may dream of publishing a statement and have the market react to his words alone which he can then list on his CV trying to sell himself as a credible pundit, but I don't buy it. Posted on a bb like this maybe, but not something to take seriously.
