My money wobbles (literally) is on a positive end. If you read the story I posted earlier about the Asian markets getting spooked then the morning opening makes sense. It is a very useful start today. I think there is a direct correlation between the opening prices and the Asian market. However, the degree the sector is affected is of note. It tells me that macro variables are still having an impact on sector prices, but not as much as before. A few people have talked before about when is it the travel sectors turn for sp recovery given other sectors seem to have recovered. With the sporadic lifting of restrictions worldwide, over this last week I think that sp recovery began. Macro events have not been obvious over the last week so the sp has been able to move up freely. I have confidence that is continuing, but like the market, the sector will be vulnerable to macro events. And judging by the limited dip this morning, the macro events are being dampened down by the sector sp recovery. In fact, SSP has already gone green.

This analysis could of course be completely wrong, but it all fits for me.

Yes, markets reacting to the Asian markets overnight. My estimate will be breakeven or small gain on the day after a fed statement that they will not be deviating from their plan to review rates in March.

However, this is very much one you make your own decisions on. Day trading heaven because any decision could be made!

Yes, well, he should learn the lesson and by now should know to give the end of trading sudden large movements a wide berth. Everybody else knows to either verify from another source before posting or letting the computers finish processing the days numbers. Such knee-jerk postings can really spook people.

I don't think the fed will apply a surprise interest rate hike as the markets will react very badly to what would be seen as a panic, and remember US midterm elections are coming up and the politics in the US influences everything for show rather than for common sense. Will London react? Not sure, I see the UK travel sector has being a more dislocated from outside influences for the last week trading more on sector real world situation emerging from restrictions. iis with bigger money may hit the market at the start based on Asia trading, algorithmic trading, but the sector recovery trading I expect to pull it back towards breakeven. If, however, there is no pull back based on Asia then it shows the sector is trading on its own and there will be very strong upside for the month and my guess there is still another 33%, or 31% after yesterday, upside across the sector.

Well I think there is a good chance of similar rises tomorrow. Profit taking? The pi minnows profit take has small impact. And I don't see much appetite for iis profit take juuuuuuuuussssssttttttttt yet!

Oh I think the sector has another 33% gain before the end of the month. IAG is a very difficult one to call at the moment. There is zero information from the company, not even leaks disguised as speculation. All I can read from that is something is so big all channels have been closed tight shut to avoid any speculation. Could be fantastic for holders, could be a car crash too. The risk averse like me that do this for fun see too much risk.

Ohhhh.... now a week or so ago I gave you a little insight into the issue of police on duty at Downing St attending some of the gatherings in Downing St and especially the fact some are armed!!! Well, if I am reading this right, none of the officers are to be prosecuted. Whilst the mass media will delight at Torys being issued FPN, the real scandal here could be the met not prosecuting or dismissing armed officers drinking alcohol on duty in Downing Street. This could get very ugly!

One of the most hilarious things about being filtered is to constantly have numpties posting attacks against posts they [claim] they can't see. The claims of what is in the hidden posts couldn't be further from the truth where I am concerned. The great campaigns to 'overthrow' the board and have particular contributors deleted or filtered because they have an opinion that doesn't suite the narrative, a narrative usually full of rainbows, unicorns, marshmallow and impossibly optimistic desires.

If they knew of the content of what they were complaining about half the time, it would be red faces all round. Time for these idiots to grow up a bit.
