Sorry Emerald ut have a very 2 dimensional view of what affects prices. If conflict takes off, the whole sector gets pulled down. For RR, many of the engines have not been accruing hours and so are not near their due maintenance and won't be for some time. It could be a year before engine maintenance due today if there was no pandemic, is due id the engine is returned to service today! My RR was for the nuclear mainly but the sp is vulnerable like most to macro events.

This is the rash move, it will end in tears for Putin because he does not have control of events on the ground in Donbas. And if it isn't Putin move, it means there is a total loss of control of separatists. So either nato or Russia will have to move quickly to snuff out separatists. If that was the plan, it is a suicide plan for Russia. This has the potential to fall apart very quickly, and sp reflects this.

Storm Dudlley failed to deliver the catastrophic headlines, and the attempt to big up the 'storm' laughed off social media. So storm eunice [aka rectum wind] is upped to the highest level as the met office keep trying to ramp up the climate change fear. BBC having to work very hard to big up a few power lins and the travel disruption caused because the train companies stopped their own services 4pm yesterday. Trees fall on power lines all the time and knock out remote villages, local residents campaign to stop trees being felled next to lines and then complain when the line is taken out. Naming of weather events was deliberately designed to escalate normal typical seasonal weather to referenced events and the BBC are flogging it too death this morning and already building up the next one; there is going to be SNOW in WINTER!!

I'm surprised at the west propaganda. We know there are large scale exercises i Belarus, Crimea, Baltic and elsewhere. So reporting movements connected to those exercises as invasion preparations actually sounds like it is the west trying to create a narrative to qualify nato moving into Ukraine, which will start a war. This western propaganda needs to be pulled back, I think nato needs to be more vocal knocking US hawks down about.

SP of course now going to suffer as a new uncertainty is artificially created by the west this time.

I think Russian war games are over next week so sp interruption might last until then unless the west do something really stupid and move troops into Ukraine.
