I've been to every AGM but this EGM will be done remotely. I'll have to register with my broker so that I can get to vote but I'll definitely be online watching / listening. Hopefully get a chance to chat to them after and ask questions as well.

Yes it's definitely a special one! Apart from the mild criticism about comms you can't argue with shareholder alignment. Also the main reason for the raise is so that they can be in a better bargaining position and 'conclude negotiations on terms favourable to the Company' .. Much rather this approach than being behind a negotiating table with no leverage and letting their products go for less money. On another note TL was that your top up this morning?

I agree a placing is definitely a fallback ("in the absence of receiving the Innovation Authority grant, it is likely the company will seek..") so you may well be rewarded for your stance TL - I certainly hope so. If there's some combination of grant and a new contract with upfront payment then we'll be back up towards 50p

I don't think the pay cut makes much difference he has personal wealth to fall back on. I think it was a signal to potential and existing investors that he has significant skin in the game and believes in the company. It isn't a normal event though I agree TL - the company are in negotiations for a major contract and he must have a decent idea which way it will go. Very hard to comment on things as a PI at the moment as there are lots of plates spinning and many eventualities. I'm glad there was no downward movement in SP today though and hopefully it won't drift before the govt news in early June. If I was a potential investor looking in I probably would hold off for 3 weeks so I doubt anyone will be buying a large position with things in their current state

Ethernity's nomad is Arden who are also a registered market maker for the stock (if you have L2 their code is ARDA). As far as I'm aware when listing on AIM there's no price stabilisation agreement with the lead broker as there would be with a big FTSE listing. In terms of the relationship it would be Arden that arranged any placing so the relationship would be quite close, however if an Ethernity director trades on the open market it won't necessarily be with Arden it could be with any of the MMs. In terms of Arden getting a more suitable SP for them then I don't know..that would be deemed market manipulation but this clearly still happens as you see plenty of dodgy raises on a spikes etc

Well someone just bought 59,162 at the grand price of 40p .. I don't reckon it's dallo because he's a round lot kind of guy like myself .. anyone claiming?

According to my broker there are still 25k shares offered at 37.5 but it's also pretty well bid at 36.4. Supply certainly coming from somewhere!

Well the 11,389 sell just now bought on 30th April .. if the MMs have enough people like that they can continue doing what they're doing. Could play out in many ways - Miton are long from IPO price but I doubt they will chip any more in seeing as they haven't been a buyer below here. Now there are more numbers to work with they might attract a micro cap fund or another HNWI like dallo
