Yep that 15k at 22.02 is actually a buy

You can actually buy in small size at 22.02 and sell at 22.65 so the MMs have got themselves in a bit of a pickle this morning.

Maybe whoever paid 24 just has a crap broker. Two mins before the close on a Friday probably not the best time to be making an investment

Umm, so what do you make of systematic internalisers if you don't like algos..?

Not really sure why. If an insti wants to buy or sell they would place an algo order such as a POV or VWAP so that they reduce the price impact. Lots of the Algo prints were buys so I'd not worry about it

What's the problem with algo prints? Just means instis are working large orders

Hi Flockton yep there are 5 MMs on the ask so I guess just a little bit of undercutting going on. The bid is still pretty solid at 21.9 - my bet is that there will be news on the testing before xmas and I don't think you'll be able to buy under 23p if that is positive.

CLX (Calnex Soluitions) was discussed here the other day - their results today are impressive. Couple of market points lifted from them:

* Favourable telecoms market conditions continue into H2 FY21.
* The exponential growth of data creation and migration of industries to cloud computing, along with the long-term transition of the telecoms industry to 5G, continue to drive a need for new test instrumentation, presenting the Company with significant, long-term growth opportunities

It printed at 14:23 yesterday. It's marked as a sell as at the time it was 21-24 .. impossible to tell though as earlier in the day the offer was 22 so it could well be a buy (especially considering the price action). As usual AIM is there to obfuscate proceedings!

You can say "we all know this is not a covid stock" as many times as you like .. the fact is as soon as they mentioned covid they were on the bandwagon and became a covid stock. You can also come up with as many fanciful uses for it as you can think of, it won't move the SP. The timeframes have been pushed out further and further and despite the continuous promise of "near term deals" there has been nothing of the sort. So it will get ramped and fall back ad nauseum until they either run out of money and it goes bust or someone actually cuts them a cheque for it. Maybe its final use could be as a suppository.

20.629 bought on the 12th for 22p. Made a quarter of a penny .. good lad.

Seems like it's a rinse and repeat at each level until the volume clears. Buy price was 23.75 after they raised the offer yesterday, now it's all the way down at 23.15. Again it's all buys so presumably it won't last long .. they are paying 22.265 for decent size.

Just postulating but i wonder if any of the conference attendees may have added to the uptick in volume? Probably a coincidence especially as TL says AIM is so hard to access from abroad, but it does seem to have increased since last week
