Yes I agree fairview, you're not going to get institutions to throw in large amounts of money at the top of a spike .. they're going to look at the previous month(s) vwap and make a decision off that. This is a different prospect to the scary raise they did at 12p (yikes!) and while my mention of institutions is hopeful speculation it would certainly settle the nerves about short term 'placing flippers' etc. Had to take a deep breath when I looked at my share account this morning, hopefully it will be a short lived blip..!

Skid I don't think anyone is going to be scaled back - that's the impression I got when I spoke to my broker and Peterhouse yesterday. I don't see the benefit of turning down money (and future warrant money). It's very well offered today, can buy 0ver 50k at 36.6 and nobody seems keen on taking them, it may well sink to the placing price .. in which case I may buy some on the open market

Would be nice to I agree Icepick. Unfortunately in the absence of any new contracts I fear we're going to be discussing the various aspects of the placing for a while..!

I think it's also discretionary skid, so if a holder with 10 shares last week applied for 100k shares they can be scaled back. I guess the alternative would be a rights issue but that would require a prospectus and be much more costly?

escapetohome, all very easy in hindsight .. if you're making investment decisions from comments on a board you've only got yourself to blame. I assume you have sold out now?

Skid, can't comment on whether there's any 'selective placement' as we'll never know the full details but I agree that point 3 did make a bit of a shock. It's now down to whether you believe this is for genuine larger deals or you think they are full of sh*t. I've just had my allocation confirmed so you know which side I'm on.

Skid, yes I know what you mean and I'm not one of these company zealots who will never see a negative side. I'm not blind to the fact that I've just been diluted, however I don't think this is some lifestyle placing to keep them in their jobs. The company presentation is very good and clearly shows the investment case, it may even be that they have attracted some institutional players which would provide additional validation. There are still lots of questions (e.g are 5g out and will they still subscribe for their additional shares?) but Levi has lumped in a load more cash and he knows what's going on behind the scenes. There will be 67m shares after this, so Sergi's assumption was correct .. that's still not a massive number of shares for an AIM company. I've paid my money and I'll take my chances!

Today will be a manic day, no real need to examine the trades imo. It may flush out some people who weren't convinced but it will attract existing holders who have conviction and people looking for a bargain, who may become long term holders. It's Q4 in a few days, they have some big events lined up and can now execute on their plan as well as any business not already won. The accelerator clause seems like a long way off but I don't think they'd set it there if it wasn't achievable.

The guy running the book for the broker option at Peterhouse is called Paul Brown, so you need to call your broker and then they need to speak to him. I've done mine although not had confirmation yet, fingers crossed I get what I applied for.

I think it will see good demand, the warrants are a nice perk for long term holders. However I don't think they will turn anyone down so will probably just increase it a bit if it gets to the 250k

Quantas I agree. This money enables them to be able to take on larger contracts and really take advantage of the IP and demand they seeing. These smaller contracts are nice but they want to deliver multiples of these and the capital enables them to do that. Look at the warrant exercise price as well, this is not some desperate cash raid it's clearly done to support a significant increase in the SP.

Going to be a lot of noise today on what is quite big news. Important to see Sergi's post with the company presentation - this is excellent and is exactly what investors have been asking for. Also important that if you believe in the company (and lets face it we all did on Friday) then you should sign up for some shares as this is not a general offer. If you don't sign up you will lose out.

Skid it's a minimum of £250k, more can be allocated if the demand is there

Martyn there's a broker option, only got until tomorrow to sign up. This is what I did at the last placing and it was very profitable. If you're a current holder and don't subscribe you're going to lose out
