It's a very strange company in terms of market cap - £130m by any stretch seems high for the amount of revenue they produce. However this doesn't seem to bother anyone, loads of volume the past couple of days with some hefty buys. I've held here since 2.5p (yes I sold some on the way up) but surely they've got to start making some serious cash soon to justify that valuation?

Dallo yes I heard the same - the move to a system based business will mean they generate more value within the industry and to their customers rather than just licensing. They certainly didn't give the impression they were worried, I don't think he would say they will communicate to investors via new contracts if they didn't have much in the pipeline. August I doubt much will happen but if we're deep into Q4 and still nothing then maybe the contracts aren't doing enough talking!

Just finished, nice to have a few more PIs on the call this year (good effort for joining from your holiday Dallo) - we had a short chat after the formal stuff and David was very positive. Not his exact words but basically they are going to let the contracts do the talking and not make multiple updates that they feel would dilute the real news. Some bullish chat on gross margins with them moving more to a system business, providing greater value to the customer than just IP licensing. It was a good AGM, these guys have their sh*t together.

Hi Sergi, good post thanks for the update. I also saw that tweet you referred to - seems a very lazy thing for him to say. Clearly hasn't looked any further than the basic numbers, maybe he's not familiar with analysing tech companies..

This shows in real time how fickle AIM is. This contract was SPELLED OUT in the results yet the share price drifted off .. it's now got people buying in higher because there is a news release about THE SAME CONTRACT. It's a funny old world..

It's not a particularly nice phrase but the sales guys at my old firm used to say 'make the product sticky' .. i.e sell the client more stuff so that they can't do without. Seems like this is what Ethernity are doing here -

There was some cliched poster on the wall of an office at my old company, can't remember the quote exactly but the premise was to always assume positive intent. I think we should do that here - there are plenty of reasons that we have not had multiple updates, for some reason a few people have chosen to focus on a negative. This is the highly opaque world of tech, I very much doubt these larger companies want their movements spelled out just so that a few private investors have something to read at 7am

Good lad dallo, glad you're feeling better. If you're near Albufeira on your trip I can recommend a lovely restaurant called Evaristo, it's on a nice little beach and you go up and choose your own fish which they then grill for you. I shall be going there as soon as we are allowed to travel and Ethernity shares are at 2 quid..some faith required but this team are the best in the business.
