Ok, well I disagree - the short term share price is not part of the strategy of the company. As Sergi said, more working capital is needed now, so a share price rally caused by some private investors isn't really a consideration. It's a fair assumption to say that the deal with Tarana was concluded with the significant funds raised at the IPO, something that nobody was even aware of. If these funds are earmarked for similar transformational deals I don't think anyone will be discussing the timing of the raise that facilitated them

How have I missed the point? I made a valid argument backed up with a reference, I'm allowed to have a differing view to yours. You seem to be basing your theory around speculation of a seller and intricate knowledge of the company that only a board member could have.

The board are not focused on the SP because that is not something they can control - it was in effect a few private investors causing an imbalance of demand against supply. As the company states in its corporate governance section, QCA principle 1 is to promote long term value for shareholders:

There's nothing in there about lacking ambition and going after small to medium sized contracts until we all curl up and die of boredom. A few people showing a paper loss for a couple of months is pretty irrelevant in the grand scheme of things I'd say!

Placings can be tough, no question.. but I don't see how it can be judged when the shares have barely settled. We have no idea what is going on behind the scenes, there are so may known unknowns and unknown unknowns I sound like a recently deceased US senator (RIP Don). If the SP had continued to rise then the discount would have looked even more stark, so they can't win really. What if they had contracts contingent on them having a stronger balance sheet right now? The result will be more significant contracts and that is a good outcome, not a poor one.

Thought it might be a bit busier today? The trades so far are buys but I've still not got my placing shares in my account .. have asked the corporate action team at my broker. Anyone else having any issues with them?

Chill with the 15p and 20p ramps chaps .. it's not helpful. It's a patent spike, it was NT to sell at 9p. It's not going to be covered in the Sunday Times or any other mainstream press.. stop being so naive. The only news that will get the sort of reaction you're talking about is actual revenue..

I imagine there will be a fair bit of churn over the next week. Those that applied will get their placing shares on Monday morning but it might be a few weeks of back and forth as the market settles, as always it will be contract news that shifts placees looking for a quick turn..

I doubt it Hall, patent RNSs usually cause a spike and pullback .. look at the reaction to the IQAI patent a few months ago, was up 25% at one point but closed up about 10%

Hi James, correct any TR-1's would be after the 4th. I have also bought more on the open market this morning just under 37.

I was quite cautious with mine.. thoughts behind it was that we'll have to stump up for the warrants at some point which will be more capital required. It'll make up for the dilution though so long term my net position will be the same. Onwards and upwards indeed!

There you go - over £400k accepted so no issues with allocation. Also a comment about the reason for the funding which should clear it up for some. Good stuff..

I've never really understood how this just keeps going. Who is buying? I can't see much PI interest and all the trades seem to be algo and dark trades, so possibly instis..? Why are they buying? Who knows... so far this year all they've announced in terms of deals is a couple of small payments from Galapagos, hardly world beating stuff for a market cap in over £150m. Somebody certainly believes in it but I can't work out who as there are no TR-1s!
