I presume this UofA research collaboration was put in place by him. That doesn't seem a great ROI for his salary in my book, I was rather hoping for revenue and not expenditure for the next Nuvec tie up.

Slopjockey I think you're right to be a bit cynical here. The board have burnt through their goodwill with a lot of investors after the whole 'we'll do a tweak' / oh no actually we're shutting down half the company debacle. Personally if I was MedImmune and I was offfered a great product for peanuts I'd take it off the table as soon as possible. If people are blindsided by them pulling out and the whole company is in tatters then there were definitely warning signs in my opinion..

If people can take advantage of a 20% spike on completely uneventful news then fair play to them. University of Adelaide is probably the equivalent of east anglia polytechnic!

If you lot can get it back up to16p you can have my shares. Just feels like piddling around with a backwater Australian university is a far cry from being targeted by major pharma, but maybe I'm just a pessimist..

This share is a day traders paradise and MM cash machine now. No reason for a 20% spike on such small news..bit of a shame really. 30 grand down the swanny for N4 and loads of people spiked.

Fully aware of those cheers Zeb. While I hope Nuvec does get over those hurdles mentioned, it does bring to the fore how binary N4 is doesn't it. I think it was Vander who pointed out a few weeks ago (prior to the reformulation division closing) that if each product has a 20% chance then you need 5 products to have a decent crack at getting one to market (although all can still fail). If Nuvec disappoints then it shutters the entire company. Anyone ramping this share is effectively asking people to invest their hard earned on what is effectively a horse with around an 8-1 chance of winning. No wonder its volatile..

That's not the full story though is it. Was jacked up to 16% on not much volume then deflated like a soggy balloon as punters lost interest. There's no news and it's on the radar of rampers and day traders so seems to whipsaw around..not great for the market perception or anyone watching from the sidelines

Probably best just not to comment on every single minuscule price movement then..

That's a good reminder of how early stage Nuvec is and why people should control their excitement a bit, especially after the recent disappointments. Also that grant is pretty small..5 million shared between several different products? Those aren't the sort of blockbuster numbers that get big investors juiced up are they!

Well at least the bid has held up so far today. I could really do without this taking another leg down..

Well I got an email back from my broker confirming I have registered my vote for the resolution this Thursday. Looking forward to owning shares in the real company soon and seeing how they are received by the wider market.
