Well with round lots like 5k shares it's not easy as there are quite a few, but with oddlots like 2421 shares I just run back through the trade history for the last 30 days and then filter by volume. I saw the sell of 2,421 this morning and thought I'd check if there was a corresponding buy - lo and behold 18 days ago I can see a buy for the same amount. On a low volume share like this it's almost certainly the same guy just getting bored and putting his money elsewhere.

Indeed. They've done numerous conferences in the past few months and the 2 sales VP Critz and Rob should have had plenty of pipeline. As you say it's a complex sales process with long lead times but if it's really woth any salt the aceNIC should be getting snapped up. Clearly not fast enough for some people though.. the sell of 2,421 this morning at 38.16 is the buy from the 7th march at 40.88 ..

Hmm well I hope you're right. It doesn't feel very likely to me at the moment but that's probably because it's been so quiet and we don't get a feel for what's going on behind the scenes. If there is an offer I'd quite like it after April 5th so I can get a few more in my ISA ..!

It's a horrible spread, really need the TSX Venture line to start trading again it's much more liquid. Only 172k shares traded OTC so far.

Why not take the good news for what it is but remain factual..it's much better for everyone in the long term.

Again, it's not "nailed on $40mm a year" .. that's not how the deal would work. Mines do not run on 100% profit margin!

Hi Revoy no probs at all mate it's a good pastime trying to assign value to the many components of KDNC. To be honest I've never been a fan of these JV's .. I don't see why anyone would part with significant cash to buy them from Cadence. That applies to Sonora and Yangi.. I'm not old yet but I'd rather have some ROI this side of 2030! I think EMH can still come good so maybe that can be worth 15-20 million if they retain 20%. MMS is an absolute deus ex machina as far as I'm concerned..nobody saw it coming and now they are looking at owning 10% of a company that might be worth 200 million. Considering the absolute incompetence of Kiran it's a great result.

Not sure if you're including me in that 'deramper' comment. I've been here years mate I know more about this company than most. The 30% Taff is referring to is for the JV's .. years away from production and very difficult to assign any value to.

Taff that may have been the case a while ago before Kiran 'but high sell low' Morzaria decided to start selling the family jewels. Sadly Cadence now only own a piddling 2.7% .. all to pay off loan notes and their salaries.

Nope. KDNC won't simply collect 40 million a year just by owning 10% of MMS.. MMS haven't even financed the mine yet, let alone built it. The details will become clear and yes it's good for KDNC, but it's not 40 million a year good ..

Anyone got any idea how long MMS will be halted for? Once that reopens it will give a benchmark to value KDNC's share a bit better. I imagine there's a bit of froth in the 250% gain today but hopefully that picture will become clearer over the next week or so.

The board of KDNC are still complete morons, it's sheer dumb luck they hit the jackpot via MMS. They would have gradually sold everything down until their final meal in Wiltons had this not happened.
