I don't post often but have been in THS for the past few months, filling my ISA allowance for this year with it as well as placing a sizeable long spread bet. Tbh I'm quite disappointed after seeing that presentation. Before THS I had been in SLP for around a year (after being tipped by ST) and decided to sell out to put my money to better use here. I can now see why SLP has continued to motor on whilst PI enthusiasm for THS is more muted. I def should have researched more but am amazed they give a 15% margin on prices to refiners, I thought it would have been closer to 5-10%. I think this not being addressed much sooner by management is scandalous. Like most PI I'm interested in seeing quick gains and so am most upset to see management wishing to p*ss the record money being made at present on other huge mining projects. Commodity prices are incredibly unpredictable and any CEO believing they can forecast the price of any metal in 8-15 years is silly. Why not just carry on with the cash cow as is? SLP haven't any great expansion plans and though they haven't stated it, they will literally have no option but to hand most of the money they accrue to shareholders. I was wishing THS would do the same but on a grander scale. I was hoping to fill my next ISA allowance with THS in less than a months time but after watching today's performance, won't be doing so.
Isn’t the price that Afterpay has to pay for Clearpay linked to it’s own shareprice? So shouldn’t the BNPL conditions around the world but in Australia especially a bigger factor in the TSL shareprice than any regulatory changes here in the UK? Please correct me if I misunderstand
Which newsletter? I can't find it online - thanks
Really enjoyable event. I managed to spend a good amount of time chatting to James and Jason and took the chance to field all the questions I wanted. The two key take-aways in my view were:
1, Jason let slip (+James didn't deny) that TE11 is unlikely to be drilled by us. This came as a shock to me. James doesn't feel the private investor base has the risk appetite for further high-risk drilling following TE8, TE9 & Badile. I think the LE event is going to be a lot sooner than we think.
2, The chasing of 'many, many multiples' of the SP at the time of the Gherkin event (at which time the team believed we had a super connected gas field) has been tempered a lot by failures at TE8 and TE9. The impression I got is our LE will be £2-4 if TE10 is succesful, £5+ is now fanciful
Hi all, I've been following CWR since Rachel Millard tipped it last year. I've finally free'd up the funds to potentially move in. I'm doing my own due diligence but would value the opinion of posters on the timeline of upcoming announcements for this year, key risks to the company, where you see the end 2019 sp to be. Many thanks.
Those who think because we have a CC we are due an RNS, I feel are setting themselves up for (even more) dissapointment. Im not saying it won't happen, just its very unlikely based on their past form. Can anyone remember a FSC or CC being preceded by positive news? I can't. The reason they have arranged this CC is because they have clearly been asked by a lot of investors for a CC. The reason they chose 13/12/18 is because that is when the team have time available. Nothing more, nothing lessin my opinion.
I agree entirely. During times like these we all need to protect our physical and mental health. Getting into arguments helps with neither. Also, please can there not be any abuse during the CC or at least not until after Ive asked my questions
Is there a chance that the TE10 camera has been taken down because they are re-evaluating whether to drill it? I think that come next week, JP will give a full debrief to PI of how they feel they got it wrong, and then could announce that the TE10 has been changed to something a lot lower risk (but also lower reward) such as an extension into the Palaezoic at the TE5 Horst.

Jim Ratcliffe's Ineos is in talks to buy the ConocoPhillips 6.5% share of the Clair Field, West of Shetland. Could this be a prelude to a farm-in to HURs' assets? Even if not, it shows there is plenty of appetite for fields in this postcode.
** Hi to all, my first post on this board but have been a LTH in HUR (and a few others) and finally decided to create an account.
Today I've been reading about the Schlumberger Saturn MDT Tool. We first heard of it in the TE-8 results RNS where it was unable to test the well due to the 'rugosity and low permeability of the well'. Some impressive kit, it is a tool which can log wells in less than 5 hours, making an RNS tomorrow almost assured.
I didn't believe BM said this either so I've just re-watched the Norwich Presentation and can confirm BM does make those comments around the 45 minute mark. He even goes further and says 'something fundamentally has to go wrong for this not to work' and 'this is as good as it gets'. I'll be able to sleep a little easier this weekend.
Agreed. On successful wireline logging, I hope they reveal the total vertical net gas pay as they did for TE6 and TE7 before proceeding to flow testing. I don't think they will however, and so even if we do get a positive RNS next week saying we're to proceed to flow testing I think the SP reaction will be more muted than it could have been.

Imo, TE10 groundworks have long been completed. It will be included in the RNS released early next week along with wireline testing results. Something along the lines of 'TE10 groundworks have been completed, and the rig will now be mobilised to the site for the second well of this current 3-well drilling program'. Webcam isn't updated because it would be plainly visible the TE10 site is complete due to the inactivity, meaning they would first need to RNS it.
** First post, but have been a LTH in SOU and follower of this board. Finally decided its time I engaged a bit more. Hi to all the moderates on this board.
