Do you mean the HT90 video? I have. There's quite a few bio plastics on there, one using rice. Also, Paul Mines speakng at Vegas conference said; "We could be living in houses, not just with appliances made from bioplastics but using building materials that are grown to provide the right structural function." And the company in this short video are using that technology... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wc1WvVDEqNI&feature=youtube_gdata_player Walkley, Market cap/shares in issue, pe ratio, all pretty miserable but some pi's have tripled their money here in last 4 months. And as an investor that's all I care about. Everything I've read points to a good 2011 and perhaps a stunning 2012 and 2013. Just hope there aren't any fundraisings in the pipeline...
Many bought in here for the same reasons as you and I but at much much higher prices. That's probably why they've got the ache with this share and understandably so. I believe things are looking good for the future and this seems an excellent opportunity at these prices. I'm not saying put your house on it, but I'm definately saying dip your toe in. My plan was to trade it on the highs/lows but I missed out on £128k in sar last week and £18k in AFC last year. And rrl, and hzm and ... So I'm staying put! And buying on weakness. Good luck and chat again over the next week, month, years... 2011 will be a good one here, I'm 80% sure.

I don't think it is a pump and dump mate. It's in an uptrend with plenty of buying pressure over last few weeks. Trading update in 30 days or so I believe and good publicity coming back from Vegas. Could well have the patent resolution sorted any day... Maybe that HAS been sorted... Anyway, hold, or buy if you can get any? Sold sar, sold afc, sold gkp all too early! I ain't making the same mistake here! Gl
Come on rybocop, the suspense is killing us! You can't just pop your head in to say 'stop being positive' and then leave. We're a new bunch of mug punters in at sub .25 and all excited about the 'green is the new gold' idea and retirement if it gets to 10p. Though 2-3p would suit me with all the shares in issue. So come on, neck on the block time! :-) A collaboration with Walkers would be nice eh? Do they have the technology? We do.
Plenty of 'speculating' going on, which is what this game's all about, eh? Happy to hold for at least a year... plenty to come I think?http://www.businessgreen.com/bg/news/1869917/walkers-potato-crisps-potato-packet And here's a reply to a poster on money yam ssanebs - 14 Oct 2010 11:14 - 34 of 80 Walkers experiments with crisp packets made of potatoes http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leicestershire-11501357 Dear Sir/Madam, We do not comment on any relationship that Biome Bioplastics may or may not have with potential customers. However, I am pleased to see a company like Pepsico/Walkers taking an interest in bioplastics. Regards Paul Mines CEO
This sector could get VERY interesting! http://www.packagingnews.co.uk/news/pepsico-uk-highlights-pack-reductions-in-sustainability-report/
I can only see an upside for this share. Still very much a punt but I'm happy to hold this. First bite at .28... Doh! And I went against the rule book and averaged down at .185. Updates due, let's hope they're positive! Or, an out of the blue contract win would be nice. Status and Trend Analysis The technical picture for Biome Tech is bullish in the short term, with resistance seen at 0.2433, while the first support level is estimated at 0.2033. The technicals point towards further upside, with resistance seen at the 0.2833 level. Should be some opportunities along the way too...
Thanks for the earlier post. Will do some digging if I get time...to see why you've topped up! Must be some pain shared by investors here? Surely a good mid/long term investment so has to be close to bottom (thinking outloud here) will start looking.
