So the company has released three RNS talking about potential acquisitions. Semnet, Paypoint and Easysend have each followed within a couple of months.

Looks like a bit of a trend to me. Doesn't mean the trend will continue but makes it a very strong probability to me.

It could ofcourse be that Easysend price has gone up but this is less likely I think. And to the best of my knowledge, no actual holder here has ever said we have yet acquired Easysend.

The proportion of trolls suddenly appearing is more than a little annoying but I'm sure we will see a strong correlation with them vanishing as the SP goes back up

It will be interesting to see, even though a confidential listing doesn't mean an IPO will happen.

Personally I hope it does as the transparency required will be good to see.

For instance, Shein will have to list all of their suppliers, something they currently don't do

So they are hoping to raise £1bn.

I hope it goes ahead, but they won't be buying Boo!

Asos really only has the one website Level, whereas Boo has many. if you want to do an overall volume comparison you'd need to look atleast at all the brand websites.

Whats more interesting to me is the growth comparator. In the last three months Asos is virtually flat whereas Boo and Debs visits are up 20%+

What on earth are you referring to about a contract cost?

The Semnet contract is revenue, not cost. Gst have stated what they believe it to be worth. I think they should state the term, but to mix cost and revenue is just plain daft.

Why won't the contract show in the results.

Firstly because the results only go up until the 31st of March. I very much doubt the contract was even signed by then. Secondly, because revenue will be paid over the contract period, so even if a contract had been started and implemented by the end of March it would have no effect on the results.

Newuncle, I'd guess its because the contract was only signed close to the date of the corporate update and therefore it made sense to include it as part of that RNS. I'd also guess it's because it's a header of terms contract and hasn't actually come into force yet.

Firstly, I haven't suggested any form of profit for this year, why are you insinuating that i have?

Secondly, we know the price GST have paid for Semnet, it is c£1.5m, with about £0.7m to be settled in shares at the back end of the year. So this doesn't imply to me that the large contract has been factored into the purchase price at all. Nor will massive numbers of GST shares be issued.

Semnet completed at the end of February so nothing really will show in this years accounts.

Thirdly, once again, you show your complete ignorance of how IT contracts work. The company GST have contracted with haven't paid 9 times anything. As posted yesterday, it will be a multi year contract and fees will be payable over the term of the contract.

Kat, you are definitely stirring the pot and burning whatever you are cooking.

I don't think anybody has said Semnet is THE big revenue generator. Angra and GS20 should be the big revenue generators. The big contract win was a nice surprsie and Semnet should be a high margin business. However, to me atleast, it's a bolt on business to facilitate the core and enable some cross selling.

Now this is reality.

I've actually been talking about volume and value for ages. Where is your information that they underperformed?

As I've also posted a few times now, the market looks at GMV as a key KPI for market places, so its natural for Boo to report on it. As I posted the other day, Shein's top line number is also a GMV number not a revenue one. I don't think anything can be read into a GMV statement at the moment other than it is an appropriate KPI.

In cash terms most of the opex savings will be in train now, so my view remains that either a revenue or margin increase will be required to deliver FCF.

I'm encouraged by the website stats so far this financial year, June's will be interesting to see if the trend continues.
