Steveiom a lot of the placing shares will have been forward sold. So the additional little bit of profit now is just icing on the cake.

It's a simple model. Sell at say .13. knowing you are going to buy at .11. Then sell again at .115. it's not a bad few days work. Works perfectly if my belief that slimy Rich is the only person involved in the placing is true!

Look at how it is lagging other markets. Main market is bad enough,but AIM isn't even directly regulated by the FCA!

If you look at something like Boo I'm 100% certain a couple of brokers atleast are massively incentivised to get shares at a certain price for Frasers.

Billy they have done nothing to create a market for months now. I don't know if it is deliberate or if main market algos simply don't work for something the size of GST.

But all they have done is create a silly down trend on low volume, which in turn causes lower volume as traders won't buy into a down trend

It may well be a breach of civil law.

However that is academic the US and EU are changing their laws to stop it.

The UK government is coming under increasing pressure to do the same

Simon I'm not sure why you are only telling part of a story. Yes they are exploring a loophole worldwide. Most of the world is in the process of closing that loophole. Many retailers here, including Next, are calling for the loop hole to be closed. The government I believe will act in the next couple of years

Simon, go and have a look at what the EU have done, they set a threshold for product range and transaction volume, so the kind of small trader you mention wouldn't be affected in any way

So Hexam you would rather compare Boo to Shell, BP and Glencoe than Fevertree, Jet2, or many other consumer businesses of a similar size?

Wow Hexam, I think you need to do a little more research.

Boo is towards the lower end of the AIM 100 by market capitalisation. And I'd suggest any serious investor is aware of the vast majority of the index companies.

It is the most appropriate index to compare Boo to if any form of peer ranking should be done. Certainly a better benchmark than the FTSE 100 as suggested by Spidey.
