Kachrafilter you write as it Shein have achieved total market domination, when the reported figures suggest nothing of the sort, therefore the generalisation is a massive over simplification.

At most you could say a proportion of customers will accept a price Vs quality Vs lead time trade off.

The more salient question is how big is this proportion and how close are Shein to reaching saturation.

Also, as you say, so far Shein have been given an easy ride by the media. The margin is also wafer thin. Once they have ipo'd I very much doubt many investors will accept that level of return.

The other question to consider is as the economy improves, does that mean price generally becomes less of a driver as people have more disposable income.

Lots of questions at the moment and very few answers, hopefully the interims will start to throw a bit of light
