The request to make Ashley CEO is certainly a strange one. After all it's more than two years since he stepped down from Frasers.

I can't see any way that Ashley and the Kamanis could work together. It would have to be one or the other imo. The letter certainly does nothing to encourage joint working as it is exceptionally aggressive in tone and the timelines suggested in it do seem more than a little impractical

I do wonder if the letter is more of a stalking horse to try to flush out a Kamani sale, or to see if there is any form of concert party in the background, such as there was at BWNG.

Id guess this may also spark interest from PE, who would certainly see value in a break up

I'd guess theyb have made a relatively small return, maybe bigger if they have been margin trading. But they certainly haven't made a fortune so it's quite telling that they are looking to close out now potentially

Semnet will have it's own admission docs, which will set the price for the IPO. The GST sp is irrelevant.

Ofcourse the price is fixed. The second payment is 1m dollars. Go look at lots of deals or fund raises, they all work on vwap. As I've stated I'd guess there are performance conditions attached to the deal, which once again is quite standard if you know anything about acquisitions.

Look at Kod, loads of social, loads of RNS, a massively derisked project and the sp is massively down.

For Semnet directors there is no gamble. They are getting 1m dollars paid in shares. Vwap is how these deals always work. If I was to take a guess as to why the deal is structured in the way that it is, I'd guess that there are some performance conditions, such as staying with the business for a certain period. Nothing to do with trying to manipulate a share price in a minority directors favour

The things you mentioned aren't being discussed because there is no point.

You seem to think GST can control the sp. They can't. As I posted yesterday, go look at TRP yesterday, billions of shares traded, virtually all buys, and the sp barely moved. At one point it was even red. The thought that the sp is being suppressed by the company for Easysend, when we don't even know if the deal will happen is simply stupid.

What makes you think GST as a whole would seek any form of NASDAQ listing. It has never even been mentioned. It's a whole load of admin for little gain as GST should now be self funding. Semnet is different as it's a first listing and will generate far better value on NASDAQ, should it happen.

Id far rather focus on the things we can understand rather than meaningless hypotheticals
