Who knows what influence Ashley had on studio retail going into admin, but a couple of things are clear.

1. He bought it out of admin because he wanted the FS business.

2. In it's first year of trading under Frasers revenue declined by c20%.

The existing BoD have published a plan.

It involves streamlining the business and focussing on five brands.

It depends if you think it is credible and they are delivering it. The results so far would show costs are under control, two of the five brands are delivering and three aren't. Umar will hopefully fix one of them. Yesterday was the first time I have seen PLT on mainstream prime time TV .

The business review will either confirm the plan or lead to disposals.
