It depends who the retail buyers were. Most major investor platforms didn't take part so most LTH were actually excluded.

It would be interesting to hear from anybody who took part and which platform they use.

My feeling is it's just more cheap profit for CMC pet investors at the expense of LTH.

The fact it's been over subscribed just proves how ill conceived a placing it was and is just unnecessary dilution at the expense of genuine LTH.

Shein haven't saturated the market. They won't saturate the market. The market segment that will buy from.them is finite. They are probably at somewhere near their peak now.

Why else would so many investors want out.

If you are so bullish about their prospects why wouldn't you buy their shares should they IPO?

You have no investment here, won't invest in Shein despite polluting this board incessantly about them, so what is your purpose?

Shein have taken some share. Their growth will likely slow or stall completely. It's already starting to happen, that's why so many of their existing investors want out.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing southcoast.

They removed guidance because trading was storming. Most people expected it to continue with the move to online accelerating.

Then the Ukraine war happened, along with inflation caused by economies reopening.

So they got it wrong. As did many other companies, although Boo got it more wrong than most. Although ASOS got it just as badly wrong.

But it's ancient history now.

I'm more concerned with how the current plan with the current CEO shapes up.

Personally I wouldn't include exceptional expenditure items like property in a standard capex report. How much is cap3x this year and how much has it been any other year

Incidentally it would be good to understand why you begrudge the founders taking some money out at IPO ten years ago. Isn't that one of the main reasons for doing an IPO. Build a business and then realise some of the fruits of your labour?

Share fall report said Boo may need to pay £1bn for PLT. Because they were paid to produce incorrect analysis. In the months after the Shadowfall report, the Boo sp went up. As far as I'm aware Shadowfall never shorted Boo directly. Just produced misinformation
