I’m afraid that I’m struggling to be a positive as you! A near 50% drop in the share price after the analysts have been able to ‘digest’ the results is concerning. The selling continues…

Yes, I’m also looking forward to a positive RNS soon and all the directors comments indicate so. However, there does appear to be a seller. I only use the LSE data for buys / sells which is possibly not the most accurate (do you use a more reliable source?) and it does appear to show persistent selling since the presentation.

Does anybody have a EV value for Serinus? I did a quick calculation and arrived at 5pence/ share but I wondered if anyone else had a figure / seen a figure.

Look at the list of the top FTSE 100 fallers today and they are nearly all mining companies.

I never expected to see this down here after the results. Very disappointing. It appears as though yet again there has been a significant selling. The directors who bought the other day are already 20% down.

I heard an article on the news this morning that a couple were refused entry to Malta because they had been given an Indian manufactured version of the Astra Zenica COVID jab. Although they was nothing wrong with the medical it wasn’t on a list on approved vaccines hence not being allowed in to Malta. Could this have been anything to do with Becimco and the reason for yesterday’s 8% share price fall, which appeared to happen with no explanation?

…. I think your Vec experience is otherwise called Sod’s law! I wonder where the private equity money, that wouldn’t been invested in Vectura will go? Are they going to look at other medical plastics manufacturers? We’ll have to see.

It’s difficult to say but hopefully the subsequent results these current projections.
Also, I have noticed that the private equity bid for Vectura (a manufacturer of inhalers) has been topped by one from Phillip Morris Tobacco! The irony!

I use Stockopedia and I have just noticed today that the 2022 & 2023 broker estimates have been revised, which I guess has happened since the company announced its results and Peel Hunt have digested the info. It’s showing 2022 as revenue 114M, profit 2.8M and eps 3.8. For 2023 they gave revenue 123M, profit 4.2M and eps 5.6. The previous figures (pre results) were showing a 2023 turnover of 200M and the re-instatement of a divi.

What the hell! There is nothing but persistent selling here. Why?

I have noted selling but overall, the volumes have been pretty thin lately. It would be great to get back into the 60’s. I believe the house broker have a price target of 65p.

At the risk of sounding greedy, I’m a little disappointed with the share price over the last few weeks. I was hoping that the results and investor presentation would provide impetuous for a higher price but that has not happened. Perhaps the lack of a big COVID related contract, or the news that there would be no divi from Carclo for the next of couple of years dampened things a little. The director buying provides some reassurance though.

Does anyone on here think there may be a chance of an equity raise accompanying the results, hence the post results investor presentations? It sounds as though the company is beautifully positioned in ‘the sector to be in’ with the potential for several years of strong revenue which is great but, the expansion could be costly and this after a couple of very difficult years for Carclo. Plus, with the pension burden too… This is my biggest holding so I’m keeping everything crossed for what I read / see on Wednesday!

You’ve done well. I first bought Carclo shares around 2002 for 42p. I did alright but should have held as over the following 10 years they moved up to over £3! I have been buying again since last year from about 20p and I have quite a few so I’ve got everything crossed for a great Carclo share performance. I have a small amount of BXP. I don’t think that they have the same potential as Carclo but could be good none the less. The trader who goes by the name of Evil Knievel is also a holder I believe.

Ian, do you follow the share Beximco (BXP)? I have a few shares there (but not as many as I have in CAR). It’ll be interesting to see how COVID affects this company...
