Has anybody just seen the latest broker forecast? They’ve just lifted their

Strong results from other finance related stocks (MFX and CMCX ) makes me think that the smaller financials are due a re rate -,companies posting great results on lowly PER’s can’t continue for ever. Value ‘outs’ as they say.

Fantastic new broker forecast figures here after the latest results. 20p eps for next year followed by 25p eps and 12.1p divi for the year after. That’s a PER under 5 and a prospective divi of 10.7%. Let’s hope this stays on track.

jolly, do you have a nav figure for beximco? my ‘back of a *** packet’ is 59p but it’s be interesting to hear the opinions of others.

Broker forecast eps for next year is £0.24. With a divi of 11p cover 1.85 times by earnings it’s yielding 9.82%.

We’ll I use Stockopedia and that’s forecasts eps of 11.7 BDT for 2024 and 13.7 for 2025 if that’s any help.

Plus 500 results are released on Tuesday 20th. Should be interesting.

I seem to remember that they promised last year to improve their website so it’s great that they’ve delivered on this.

I have to say that I was expecting Beximco’s results to raise the share price more than it did. Despite a decent update the share price is only about 10% off its low after being quite heavily sold down. It’s a really harsh market at the moment.

Ok, so a trade was responsible? I thought the results were in April / May so unless they issued a profit warning (but I couldn’t see an rns) I couldn’t see what had happened.

What has happened here today? I can’t see an rns…

This is drifting back towards its lows, have I missed an rns or is this a warning that share holders will have to endure another frustrating 12 months.

Let’s look out for the new broker forecasts after they’ve had chance to digest the update. Shouldn’t be too long.

It’d be fantastic if this went up 3% tomorrow as well - take us into the 70’s.

Well these have ‘come a cropper’ today - sorry, couldn’t resist. I had these on my watchlist but the price moved up more than I anticipated recently (tightly traded shares do suffer with large swings). One to watch here.

I admire your optimism Commando but I was disappointed with the update… there’s nothing happening! Nothing that’s gonna lift the price much. I hope I’m wrong with that but as I’m only a couple of pence/ share down I’m seriously considering cutting my losses. Unless the activist investor can get things moving… Fingers crossed.
