It’s a shame that the coal price has weakened. I noted that the Richards Bay Coal Price had nudged up to nearly $120 the other day but it’s fallen back to $106. I was hoping that it was the beginning of a steady climb.

Ex Divi day tomorrow for TGA holders too. Let’s see where these go over the next few weeks.

Is the share price weakest here two fold? We definitely have reduced earning forecasts which obviously isn’t good but is the dollar the other issue? I note that the EPS here is quoted in dollars. If the fed reduces US interest rates at a fast pace will this have a ‘knock on effect’ of reducing the EPS even more? Opinions welcome.

There appears to have been some large trades gone through earlier today. I can’t tell if they are buys or sells but there seems to have been larger than average trades today.

I can’t as it’s from Stockopedia, a pay / subscription site. 14 pence is the consensus of all the brokers which follow this stock (not sure how many this is).

Interesting to hear. I believe that NAV is just over 300pence / share. So undervalued but to realise its true value will require something from the board.

2025 forecast eps has had another haircut. Prior to last weeks rns it was 17pence / share. It’s now 14p.

I see that BXP on the Dhaka has come from its recent year low of 110 and is currently 115. I guess this is why the price here is not rising.

Will a good trading statement spark a re-rate or, is Jolly S right in saying that it’s the currency not the company which is responsible for this being out of favour with investors?

Broker revising their figures after yesterdays figures. Broker consensus eps forecast for ‘25 has reduced from 72p per share to 69.5p. This puts EZJ on a forward p/e of just under 7.

Do any of you chaps know what coal price BISI are currently stating as their ‘break even’ cost? Thanks in advance.

Good luck to those that held. I have to confess that I sold the day of the large Director sale last month. I had a profit and didn’t want to see it disappear but since that sale other directors have bought and the shares are up about 15%! So frustrating at times this share game! I was hoping to buy back if they slipped but they’ve done the opposite.

And a good trading update from SSP maintaining their guidance thanks to airports being busy.

Looking at Stockopedia the 2025 forecast EPS has been slightly upgraded to 25.2 BDT per share.
