Jacksdad- also for context back then we had ~50% of BNG we know have the lion share. I was always concerned we gave away part of mjf in exchange for bng which would never flow..... looking positive now. If the official flow test starts soon I think the market will respond stronger. That is where roxi/ casp has let us down before - not following through. One other thing that has been in my thoughts. Clive incentive scheme was based on a cash payment for a set amount. If he is in Dubai it should be tax free if in the uk casp would have to gross it up essentially doubling it for the cash amount to be received - feels more and more orchestrated with a clear plan to raise the share price

Definitely a positive bias today fizzy. I think Clive wanted to get this out today so that they could hit it properly next week when all the traders are back. Would have been nice to see mention of API and if there was any mix of water or mud which I assume is negligible. Looks like they are experimenting with pressure to sustain the flow and being cautious, which is great to see. If a8 news drops with a5 flow this could move hard and fast. Just need to create sone much needed market credibility.

I think a5 will flow without cleaning - just a gut feeling but all learned over the period and the potential pressure in that well might make it go straight to flow

To me a decent rns but again devote of information. I think if they are starting to release info then Clive is eyeing his bonus. Cementing should not take long - the stuff sets incredibly fast. A8 sounds cleaner but not clean enough but I assume that is what the shut in is trying to establish. A5 flowing would release the pressure on this co and it’s shareholders. I’ve always thought it’d be the first to flow. Also if they can get a5 to flow they can get the rest to flow in time. Everything has been dropped down there, metal machined out, sidetracks upon side tracks, cleaning etc etc. Should be an update next week imo.

Interesting proposition. Big brand virtually no market value, restructured and a new beginning. The next 6 months will be important and license deals therein. I can see a few bags here in 12 months. There are not many high street retailers that can survive the administrators review so there must be a considerable business beneath the last story.

I think we started calling the winter card much earlier in the year. Frustrating indeed. Let’s hope there are no special winter programs lurking for mjf.

Coffee- I believe you are dead on the money with your assumptions and estimations. A bonus ball will be successful acid frack but this is still a big if in my book. Another skittle so well placed with dozens behind in turn. Cash flow is ruling the roost at the moment and you might find that BH are holding off work without payment in advance for some or all. Corporate credit control departments do not like countries like Kaz. A5 still the main play for me - the others could quite easily bumble along to the same time next year or they could have on flowing in early December - same story for years. However, cash flow improving and paying back all those advanced sales the smoke will clear at some point.

I thought one would drop today have to say. Unsure what that means in terms of deep development. Maybe they just can drill these deeps. I’d fear that if they can’t get a8 to flow that will be the case. My concern at the b-stock merger was that they gave half of mjf for half of BNG. If BNG cant be developed we gave away half of our oil company as shareholders and value. What I don’t get is Clive saying that we will flow imminently but it never happens. He sounds foolish and most people would be rather embarrassed to be giving out so many false forecasts.

A5 is definitely the most likely near term imo. I think a8 will need a bit of time to naturally clean. Hopefully all going to plan on completing and we can get some big flow rates out. Remember that was hampered by stuck objects the last time.

Whilst the inward progression on the MJF is good and feels to be relatively low risk the communication again is causing concern. When Clive goes quiet it is never good. Making the statement that deep wells will be flowing shortly is a dangerous one but to follow with silence is frustrating. No doubt something has happened as it’s a difficult business but I’d rather be informed. Maybe something Thursday but not feeling easy at the moment. Some solace in the fact little of the sp is underpinned by the deeps

Can’t accelerate, complete the deeps, and buy the equipment all out the magic pot of cash all at once. This is a decision that should only have positive outcome.

Always a decent sign when someone will take a company’s shares for an asset consideration. To me either means the assets are way over valued or those in the know.... know the value is there

Like most I have been here a while. What I have picked up and feel from the many announcements over the years is that the rns are always a bit behind. I often think they were drafted a week ago. I think someone mentioned that the call, then the rns was waiting in the sale of oil, which would make sense. That may mean it is a couple of weeks ago which would tie in with the leaked website. Interested to know where we are. Awaiting regulatory approval note .... hmm heard that before. Hopefully the wind is changing for us all.

Here’s a theory - they will delay a8 flow until they know if a5 side track is a goer. They need cash and wand to go deeper on a8. Answer sit on it, find out if a5 flows and then go deeper. If a5 doesn’t work flow a8 as is there. Code being - it may be a while if radio silence - been invested here too long
