The company’s deep management issues have created significant damage and uncertainty. In my view, the situation is so severe that Vistry will eventually face delisting from the London Stock Exchange by year ends . The problems appear deeply rooted, and anyone stepping in now risks being dragged down with it.

How are we supposed to secure jet fuel supplies like this? If I were Prime Minister right now, I’d get all the oil companies around the table and say “I want North Sea oil at the pumps within six months.”

I’d also set up a proper team to tackle fake benefit claims, especially people falsely claiming disability benefits. And I’d send warships to the Channel between the UK and France nobody gets in without the right paperwork.
