I was thinking today,why doesn’t Wizz Air start new routes between Russia and Iran? In my opinion, many Russians would love to travel there. Iran is a country full of culture, history, and fascinating places to visit. If negative perceptions and political tensions surrounding Iran were reduced, I truly believe it could be a very good opportunity for the airline.

Dozens of ships pass through Strait of Hormuz with Iranian permission - report

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has allowed 33 ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz in the past 24 hours, according to the Iranian state news agency Fars.

Oil tankers, container ships and other commercial vessels were able to pass through after obtaining permits.

The IRGC's navy provided security to the vessels and escorted them through the strait, the report stated.

Iran effectively closed the Strait of Hormuz, a key shipping route through which some 20% of the world's oil passes in normal times, at the start of the war.

It has blocked nearly all ships apart from its own, prompting the US to establish a naval blockade of Iran.
