I cant believe that the recent financial results would have caused such a surge in the SP. Neither would a broker upgrade. This share has risen too far this year for those explanations. No hard evidence of a bidder but somethings got this share cooking.

Thank you Bobat, however whilst the Technical Indicators show a "strong buy" I can find only the following Target Price mentioned (peesunably issued prior to todays contract win announcement):

"According to analysts, HDD price target is 30.00 GBX with a max estimate of 30.00 GBX and a min estimate of 30.00 GBX".

Could you further enlighten me?

I've bought in for the first time as I think the business is sound and, like Sparks, take comfort from buying by Directors. Maybe further selling pressure by exiting Funds but plenty of Buyers at this level judging by the trading volumes.

I took another tranche at 915p having bought in two weeks ago at a much higher price:(.

I feel the share price will recover based on fundamentals but other parties might drive it down temporarily before any recovery.

This company deserves a higher rating but it'll take more than a single BBC media article to achieve it. This company still needs better commercial leadership.

I dearly hope that you are right StPTom and both TV and studios are realised. I've had a thankfully small holding in thus dog for a decade and would love to get back a higher portion of my initial stake than the present SP.

This morning I made a small speculative Buy. I've watched this company since early in the year and, despite current unfortunate circumstances, I believe this is a well run enterprise with long term potential. Hopefully the adverse financial impact will be temporary and the site back on stream shortly.

It happened again on 30th at 1035 when 92k of shares traded at 370p and 375p. Can someone please explain why such trades are classified as Unknown when they are priced above the mid-point?

Can anyone explain why the two trades done at 1009 today for 121,000 shares at 371p are classified as Unknown when surely they are Buys? Or am I being too suspicious in advance of October’s interim reporting?

Sterling, I've done the same today. I doubled up my shareholding because this is a quality company that will come right at some point. Hopefully Mr Market will soon agree.

Feeling the pain as SP declines but at sub 14 PE and 4.25% yield this feels like the low. I appreciate that the Skinny Jab and younger generation will reduce consumption but there's plenty of mileage left in the Boomers. Thinking of a top up at this level.

Certainly I'm upset by the Board that uses placements at such a large discount to raise cash and agree that organic growth should be the strategy. I'd want to see the economics of the projects into which this cash is deployed to justify issuing shares at a 10% discount to recent level ( not merely yesterday's price which was down on last week).

I'm as puzzled as Alessandro as to why this is back down to pre-trading update levels. I can only think that the present shorting at these levels is part of a wider game plan.

Certainly management sees trading improvement in Language Services and IP Services and has enough confidence to raise the interim dividend.

In the back of my mind is the 2022 approach by a Barings PE fund that fizzled out and my hope is that another one may materialise. I've had this share for three years so that may be wishful thinking.

I'll hold for the present and see if future developments in the business will improve the outlook for the SP.

Looks like the market is unconvinced that Advanced will make a firm bid by the deadline of next Tuesday.

Hopefully the SP will remain supported at the current level until we get news of better trading in H2.

Classic "glass half full or half empty", SP close to 400p encouraged me to buy. I think the need for these products remains strong. I'm focused on H2 when I expect to see an increasing impact of the integration of Terminix. I'm looking for delivery "on expectations for FY 2024, including 2-4% Organic Revenue growth in North America, accompanied by modest margin progression."

I think the gap reflects the fact that it's not a 'firm' offer and Advanced will undertake due diligence which may throw up an issue that makes them walk away.

I'd love a competing offer that better reflects the historic highs of this share.

RNS of 6th clearly shows position after transaction was holding of 6.9%.

Can only assume previous holdiding was belew 3% reportable and hence didn't have to be reported on this RNS as Prior Position.

Anyone have a view on Herald Investment Management Limited's purchase of 6.9% of KMK ? I've lost interest in my holding of this share as its value has dwindled to near zero, but still have hopes that, one day, someone will properly commercialise its proprietary technology.
