Hi sparky, I just can't believe this is due to a lack of funds. Business is business - none of us, including Hudson, are in this to look after anyone else. That said, there are some other big players involved here and I hope they hold enough weight to make sure Hudson have to make an offer at the eleventh hour (after shaking out every pi they can which I also assume they'll do over the coming weeks).

I still think Hudson want the lot and am not at all surprised by yesterday’s outcome. I wouldn’t like to guess any more than that, but do still hope we’ll get something from the table in the final analysis, whether that is pre or post suspension.

The whole "not responded" things seems utterly bizarre to me given that the board said today that they have been meeting with Hudson recently. I think we'll see a good outcome here.

I now wonder if this is all to force the hand of one of the parties interested in the port.

Even if they get suspended the easiest thing for Hudson to do will be to make an offer for the remaining shares, presuming they want the lot.

Yes it is a little risky, if it wasn't then the share price would be many multiples of where it is now.
