Don't think it's quite as simple as that and without being privy to the actual loan agreement, we'll never know the full terms and conditions. In annual reports, admission docs. etc., the loan is described as a convertible loan and there seems to have been an expectation that it would be converted into shares in the Company.

Finally some good news for REDX, but what a shame it comes at such an uncertain time. Redx's Porcupine Inhibitor, RXC004, has produced some promising preclinical results in pancreatic cancer, both as a monotherapy and in combination with checkpoint inhibitors. Pancreatic cancer is still the most deadly cancer with a 5 year survival rate of just 6% and new treatments are desperately needed. Very positive RNS. PeproStat is 100% owned by Ergomed and is a coagulant, designed to stem bleeding during surgery. The current phase IIb is recruiting patients who are undergoing liver/soft tissue surgery, vascular surgery or spine surgery. It's administered during surgery on a sponge applied directly to the site of the bleed. Of course the trial is randomised and double blinded so nobody yet knows the outcome, however, would have thought that given the immediate nature of the application, it would become apparent very quickly if there were issues and surgeons would be reluctant to enrol patients to the trial. Just my opinion of course but the fact that recruitment is ahead of schedule and results will be released early is encouraging.

No doubt down to buying in advance of the results of the Ovarian Cancer Study which is due to report this quarter. The whole liquid biopsy field seems to be getting plenty of attention at the moment and having MD Anderson present their own research using the Parsortix system at ASCO can only help to raise awareness and boost sentiment.

mosyey, There are 2 main types of liquid biopsy - one captures circulating tumour cells (CTCs) and the other circulating cell free tumour DNA (ctDNA). Angle's Parsortix is a CTC liquid biopsy whereas Grail's is a ctDNA system. So similar field but different tech. capturing a different target. The advantages of a CTC liquid biopsy is that the whole tumour cell can be analysed for RNA, DNA and protein expression.

Bruce, you are correct, in fact, there have been several new antibiotics approved by both FDA and EMA over recent years. Can only think Matey was referring to class of antibiotic.

........and that's the issue, even if they manage to agree terms with Liverpool Council and resume trading, confidence will be shot to bits. How will they raise the cash they need for the 2 oncology trials?
