Swisscom Last year £0 revenue from Vod Italy, this year £XM revenue, the effect on swisscom just from buying it is probably close to the 40%, its not vodafone italy thats up 40%. You'd need to look if the Net income is up 40% to see if its diluted the returns in % terms or not.

Both my mrs & son work at M&S, can't really fault them as an employer, the mrs works nights and feels overworked at time, but thats because she cares about doing a good job, whilst others don't so she ends up getting the harder aisles / takes on more of the slack than is fair, but thats just like IMO, you put your best people where you need them, she doesn't see that though so comes away from shifts annoyed. Payroll is messed up at the moment, though, they are having to pay people on contractual house and not hours worked, the difference apparently is going to be processed in June, but shows how deep rooted the issues are.

Can't comment on your other points, but a cyber attack that has highlighted how dependent they are on IT and how human workarounds aren't there to keep it running smoothly. Is going to be improved by greater reliance on IT?

Apparently they have a workaround APP that can process some stock management, but they are asking the staff to download the APP on there personal phones. Yeh ok, you've just had a massive cyber attack and then want the staff to take personal risk.

My mrs works their. their current mitigation is storing all the waste stock "Backstage", and will process via the Honeywell's once it is back online. I'm not sure how the the sales element of the stock control is fairing but the current workaround for the waste element is not very good IMO. You'd think they'd be able to deduce that items delivered 7 days ago need to be re-ordered with an adjustment for current sales vs the preceding 7 days sales. But the Mrs has said (and granted its 1 store) that the deliveries are markedly smaller

This is also a bit of an issue, the stock control systems are affected, the goods in (into stores) is being affected, they are unable to accurately do stock counts, so to be prudent the deliveries are lighter, so shelves are full now but if they keep being prudent then might not be like that for to much longer and then that would impact food sales.

You are trying to contrive something that isn't their. Lorenzo clearly sees value at 70p and questions why anyone would sell, So why on earth would he sell those shares on the off chance he would be able to buy back in lower? he didn't understand why their were sellers at 70p so he sure as hell wouldn't want to chance them going lower. Your not making much sense and trying to pick a an argument when there is none to be had

Exactly, buybacks only put money in an investors back pocket it said investor sell there shares to the buyback, but they could sell them anyway if they wanted the cash that way.

100% is not a till only issue, they can't process any stock in or record waste, i think they had the initial attack and took stuff offline to defend against further attack, that offline has impacted all manner of things. My Mrs works night on the refill and they are storing waste and can't discount it as they don't have access to the system.

Yes, the drop happened exact time the RNS dropped, but yes they are still not over it. basically having to resort to manual processes to deal with stock in. plus they can't discount the perishables so they will stay full price then get thrown away as opposed to normally being sold at a lower value, can't imagine it will break the bank for them, but they had a all hands on deck for yesterday to deal with the manual side of things (at time and a half) so will impact profits to some degree as more heads needed, but again no idea how material it will be

Mrs works at M&S, this cyber attack, had them unable to take card transactions on saturday and all there stock rotation procedures have been impacted, to yellow stickers checking stock in etc.

My 2 Pennies, the 150p+ days were based on X Growth on the EPS, that growth has stalled, through Labour Policies and Nike etc. but the drop to 60s was based on a material drop in EPS that again has been shown to not be the case. So we'll rise but I'd be surprised to see 150p in the next year or 2 unless they sandbagged the outlook.

Exactly the SP over the last few months have been priced to the downside of every risk going, we are basically saying that Profit we said for FY26 when we were over 150p, yeh that still stands. We have recently been taken down on Nike Revenue YoY Reduction of over 10%, ours was up on Organic and LfL.

After steadily improving the last hour has killed us, great foreboding for tomorrow. DOOM!!!!
