Iron ore at at high price - said before a sale of this would make sense as we seem to have pushed that to the background. Would be good to know boards plans with this.
Also just noticed an £80k buy shown after hours yesterday.
sorry billion pound market cap!
GGP which was in the same position and same market cap as us 18 months ago just hit a million pound market cap . Tell me again why our board are burying their heads in the sands and not at looking at a JV.
Share your frustration swest - though it had settled down after a few 'normal' days. I noticed the RNS regarding the new director this week had the words - "We are delighted to welcome Christelle at such a pivotal time".
If its a pivotal point it certainly not reflected in the current share price action so hopefully they have some good news ready to drop.
I know im becoming boring and slightly obsessed with these recent trades over the last few week but can anyone explain the following -
Stable all day which made a nice change from recent times but then these three added after close - not as if they are big figures which is usually the case for trades showing after hours
26-Nov-20 16:36:19 13.20 33,000 Sell* 13.70 15.00 4,356 O
26-Nov-20 16:35:23 13.70 9,840 Sell* 13.70 15.00 1,348 A
26-Nov-20 16:35:16 13.70 10,000 Sell* 13.70 15.00 1,370 UT
Lets hope so Blackhopper we should be well above this currently level and thought we might have kicked on, on the recent rise. Hopefully this continued talk of discussions with other interested parties in our assets bears fruit.
Yes another positive RNS, (we very rarely get negative ones, though you wouldn't think it looking at historical price action) People possibly holding back from buying given the recent selling that has been persistently going on though it was around this level it settled previously before a decent rise.
No doubt it was more good news this morning so we can hopefully kick on from here, the news of a second market for the by product of processing at 20% of total is good news also but would be nice to have some possible monetray figures on it. Onwards and upwards hopefully, especially with gold drilling results due also.
Its like he company are scared by joint ventures - various other companies are doing it and the share price and site progress are going in the direction expected. We seem to be tied by these large % holders who seem to add very little. The company should be in a far stronger position than to allow a seller getting rid of a few £100k worth of stock to knock off over 15 million in the market cap in a few weeks.
Yes good point Mike, im forgetting they dont notify anyone converting warrants straight away.
Likewise my average is high - even at 20p im down !
Looks likes there a few of us thinking along the same lines. I for one seem to have a blind faith with this company whereas I dont with any other companies shares ive held.
Possibly its because the facts are strong, we have in demand metals and plenty of them and the geologists who work for IRR are brilliant, but the board let the site team down. It looks like to me likes there is absoluely no advantage is having our three big % holders, they do nothing for us.
The Communication from the company is also lazy, ive said it for years.
This current seller looks to be single entity be it company/person. Over the last few years Ive not seen buying of the amount that would suggest its a new(ish) person given its been relentless small sells for three/four weeks now. So for me it can only be Geodrill or a long term holder who is moving on. If it were a director they would have to notify wouldn't they?
If its Geodrill fair enough they've got overheads, but surely the board would know this and should make some comment.
How many shares has this seller got? - this drip drip selling is killing any momentum - two weeks now ! hopefully out soon.
Great news - on the licence renewals and plan to renew site activities renewed as the grades so far are excellent. Now lets get a JV partner signed up for this area and get an aggressive drilling programme underway.
I must admit when i saw the background I was a little bit underwhelmed. You would have though the appointment would have been more mining/resource specific.
"Ironridge continues to strengthen it management team as it makes its transition from explorer to developer" - market reaction 8% drop - frustrating, thought we were staring to pick up a little momentum end of last week.
Whats happened there then Farquar - just noticed those other late trades of the 10ks and the 20k - i dont profess to fully understand the shorting game ? Do you think the smaller 13.50 sells were deliberately to try and trigger some stop losses at the bottom and they've now got rid of those shorts having got their profits ?
Must admit I was hovering over the sell button myself today at mid 13s just through sheer frustration. I truly believe in the company but god its a slog, when it shouldn't be.
Again I think the company comms' is poor sometimes, when we could have done with some positive vibes this last week.
The RNS today was poorly worded/brief and should have included that he left DGR also.
I've had buys all the way upto 35p over the last few years and have manged to average down but these last few weeks have sickened me.
The rise to 19.50 a few weeks ago was hard enough with people selling into every little raise (which looked like surpression). The last week or so has been different though - we are down due to repeated sells and I just hope its not someone 'inside' as we have seen it before with IRR however much we like to bury our heads in the sand.
As Toro said I hope some of the late sells (the 67k) are shorts closing so we can motor on and leave the teens behind.
CFO gone - he was CFO at giant DGR also and at SOLG so looks like nothing to do with us speciffically. Looks like the management wanted someone else in that position overall.
This was always the problem with that type of deal, seemed like a good idea at the time but might have as well have done a raise for the cash then its done rather than this constant drag on the share price. Especially when they later shafted us all by raising at 7p. I know its history but still irks me!
This has got to be Geodrill surely ?? - or someone with no patience, everytime weve had the hint of nice rise its been sold into and supressed, if they just left it and timed their sells they could let it rise and get a much better price - will be glad when they are done, this is boring.
When we had the small rise back end of last week there were a few decent sized trades quickly followed by minus trades to cancel them out so even the small rises are manipulated by the MMS - i know its a tired line but was definitely the case last week.
