Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Time for the management to step upto the mark now and get some updates out on where we are heading. I know they cant help when someone clearly wants rid of their shares but they need to get the PR machine ramped up again with some clear directional
Certainly good to see a nice turn in sentiment, and not without good reason given the crazy low position weve touched recently. Looking forward to seeing news from various point over the next few months with MRE being the biggie.
Some nice buying activity these last two sessions, long may it continue
The interview with VM yesterday posted on Twitte r from Mining Review Africa had some interesting comments where it would be nice see more meat on the bone, particularly where he said they are actively talking to other parties about our Gold interests. Hopefully some news arriving on this soon.
I know people sell for all sort of reasons but you have to question how much research people put in when they are selling at this price. We pretty much all know the timelines here now and there could be multiple other bits of news in the meantime from our other sites. You would struggle to ever class this as a traders share bar the odd couple of spikes the last year, so why do people buy and then most likely sell at a loss as the last three daft trades show.
Agreed, always good to see your input Dave, just re-affirms what we have here. I know that JZ has stated in the past we had serious interest when we owned 50% of Zeb, do we know who that interest was from.
I live about 25 minutes away from Runswick Bay - fantastic place to chill. I'll treat you to a seafood platter from the Royal Hotel if it comes good here King :-)
Our expenditure this past year must be minimal so other than writing the MRS investment off and ongoing admin' costs/mining application it cant be that complicated to get the accounts out on time this year. this year
It certainly looks good for the next 6 months with all indications its going to be something special. Just goes to show how crazy the world of AIM is when we dont shift on todays great RNS but rocketed when three people took a selfie getting out out of a car in Stuttgart.
This constant spread movement by MMs on piddly amounts is ridiculous. Another million wiped off the company value today on miniscule trades. Time for the IRR team to plug the twitter machine back in I think.
King, ive been in URU over 3 (painful) years now, and just want to say cheers for the graft youve put in over that time. Youve uneathed some great info over that period and had to deal with some idiots who have popped up along the way. May this work out right for you and all fellow long termers still holding out for what will hopefully be a positive outcome.
Buys to sells doubled but still the MMs happy to kick us in the n*ts and fiddle the spread.
Agreed, IRR is definitely not a traders share so strange to shed some at this point but as you say we all have our own reasons.
With the maiden resource for Ghana due to reveal itself in the next few months and news due from other sites with the mass drill campaigns ongoing hopefully all should be revealed soon. GLA
Indeed, looks like a great arrangement. One thing you can never accuse this company of is lack of detail. Certainly upping the ante now and stepping up the drilling programme which is what weve all been asking for.
Totally agree with that Swest, I was thinking last week it may be time for the board to get back out on the road and do some interviews to give some meaningful updates on where we are but it would probably make little difference in this current climate.
Why do they keep moving the spread to artificially make it look like the SP is lowering. Given the name market makers you would think they would try and encourage some activity rathan rinse people.
Gold continuing its attraction in an ever turbulent environment, I know we are not a producer and some way off but the lure of our assets continues to look good for potential buyers/partners, especially the newer additions.
Same yesterday, MMs only to happy to drop it on sells but not increase on decent buying. Yesterday was decent day of buys aswell and they only took us up 1%
Would agree that our potential assets are far greather than theirs but their market cap is 50% higher than ours now which would have seemed ludicrous 18 month ago.
I know its not the done thing to mention other shares but there have been comparisons with IRR and GGP in the past on here.
Do you think we get full value out of major shareholders ?. I know we get the attention by association but apart from initial cash injections how much do they actually benefit the company at the moment.
If you look at GGP they have Newcrest putting up a large amount of cash to aggressively drill one of their licence areas, albeit potentially taking a big chunk % wise if they wish to depending on results of the drill.
This is surely the way forward on some of our licence areas, with a top tier mining company potentially taking a direct stake in one of our licences to move it forward at pace.
Think the MMs have got themselves in a muddle here. Tried a dummy buy and sell earlier with barclays for a decent amount and was offered 12.80 for both
