I attended the call earlier and unfortunately nothing inspired me to want to add to my holding at present. I agree with you that if I was an II why would you invest now as the results are likley to remain pedestrian at best in the near term but also why provide them with cash through further rights issues in future just to burn through that as well. 230 people is a hefty overhead. Really unsure what to do with this one. Either sit and wait for jam sometime in the distant future or cut now and use the funds elsewhere.

Good read indeed. I just hope there are no other skeletons lurking that we are not aware of but given their risk committee approach which is summarised well in the Anual Report I would think they are all over their portfolios..or at least hope so. I disagrre with tuan6's comment on the firm being over 100 years old. That is meaningless but this BOD is experienced and have started taking meaningful measures to protect the bank.

Pretty clear RNS. They are working on various options including the financial alternatives to get the machines fully operational and up and running this year and next. Either they will or they won't but a good summary of where they stand.

I hope for all of our sakes who have been long term holders you are right Vanilla. One major concern I have is that if we continue to see further delays in confirming the machine actually works at 230MeV this company could start to be overtaken by events. Thankfully for sufferers there are cures for different cancers being announced on a regular basis now which is really good news and to be warmly welcomed. I just hope that there continues be a need for their technology by the time they ever do get it to work. I believe there should be a need from what I can gather but these delays do not inspire confidence.

Thanks for the update Bill which I have only just had time to read. I hope your father improves soon. As a long term holder patience is a virtue and with AVO you definitely need it in spades so let's hope that your impressions and feelings are borne out.
