I do genuinely think a takeover isn't out of the question though - at the right price it would allow DC his exit.

I remain wary of some volatility before the May concert, but I've had faith in this one since the end of last year and watching the upticks is very reassuring.
This is a "share of the year" contender as it progresses.

I reckon the carrying value of Phasefocus was about £3.5M at Sept 30th.
If it's doing well and they sell it for a premium they could get £6M for it. If they chose to pay the full sale as a dividend that would be more like 12p a share (fag packet maths).
Obviously more sale = more jam

For me, I bought the big slices lower, not to trade, but to bring my average right down - I'm about 7p from overall green and I'm still too stubborn to admit defeat!!!
I maintain Phasefocus sale or profit could still get me there inside 2022.

I've not sold yet - torn between the long term conviction it'll get to a price where I wipe my nose on the whole lot, or do I take this now on the basis it'll probably drop? Day trading not really my bag!!!

I had the same here 3 weeks ago - good examples of why the buy/sell data should never be used to make decisions....

They've actually had to be a bit quieter recently - perhaps because enough of us want to get back to reality and actually there is some good stuff going on at BRH.
The height of 2021 was absolutely dreadful here, some of the evangelism around every word from the Supreme Leader "The Prof" was beyond ramping and positively boiler room level - some of those names seem to have evaporated since Xmas I note.
I don't knock people for being positive about their investments, more the way they choose to go about it on a public BB. It's a core principle of good investing that you see all the possibilities and risks, not just those that you want to hear.
If FAB are now out, then we should see a little bit of an uptick, but if we go past 21/22p then you'll see Mr 10%ers dipping in and out and causing volatility.
I'll repeat - what we all need is something REAL from the board in an RNS that covers real profit, real sales, real dividends, real valuations - that will let us see what the REAL value is here.

My head said hold what I had, then keep my powder dry for a top up at the seabed, which for me was 18.5p a couple of weeks ago - so my head says be in and hold. But for real reasons, not blind ramping on tests, but for Phasefocus and other general profitability.
Emotionally I feel like Halma does because of what has transpired since Xmas - most of us didn't know what FAB were up to until the price had gone down so far it wasn't worth taking any other course of action. We also suffered TB's activity in 2021.
I still hold at the reduced average and still believe in 2022 I will get a chance to escape with my nose wiped. Doesn't mean I like the way this is run.

Goodness me! if those trades are the same ones (and it looks that way) the mind boggles!

One thing I like about this BB compared to many others on LSE is that there's good maths and research, even if people draw different conclusions there's a sensible debate. I like the fact whether its MB10 at 19p-38p or me at 20p, we're all happy this is way undervalued!
I do respect your points re: MM's - I'm not contesting what you say can happen I'm more thinking they wouldn't have the time to do it on every share out of 1000's and would take on the market a bit on something bigger where the returns are worth the effort and risk?

If there's no supply below 5p then the price will rise as there is clearly demand.

agree on the churn - it resets what Mr 10% bought for - plus any new LTH's are in at this new floor.
I bought again this morning because I see the floor as being 5p now.

But the MM process is automated - it looks at balance of buy/sell orders to find the mid price. At the moment you can buy what you want too.
I'm not going to say that price manipulation never happens in the markets, but there are over 1000 listed companies and millions of trades every day. If you're going to try and manipulate you're not going to have time or get a reward on microcap shares like this - you'd go after a Darktrace for example, where the levels of activity pay back.
If I had a £1 for every post on these board on microcap AIM shares that claim manipulation I'd be a rich man. :-)

come on MB10 - you may have a deep belief that there are human MM's all conspiring to fix a price but I know that's rubbish this morning. The buy/sell is just based on supply/demand - it's normal behaviour after big news and a spike for the price to settle. Not everything is a conspiracy :-)

Guys - don't be fooled by MM conspiracies either.
This is just Mr 10% selling into a spike - I could buy just below 5p this morning so there's no fix going on
