I thought from the RNS last week the breakeven was 60% day 1 and 50% day 2, so once we got past 26,000 day 1 we were in profit. We'll need 22,000 on day 2... but happy to be corrected if the profit level on tickets is lower.

So we have the final acts in place now for the second day. Good stuff. Streaming next on the agenda.

The split right now might seem low, but there are still sells - 3 of the last 4 trades at time of posting. People want to offload at this price, so there's no need to raise the split. If a big buyer comes in this will bob up like a cork. We can't see what sells are booked in if they raise the bid/ask.

True. I thought he was meeting potential partners last week and was announcing this week, so no drama.

The AFN situation is like an episode of EastEnders. I am going to assume the new potential overseas interest is not part of the hostile Israeli group that want Clem out.... adding a new overseas investor that supports Clem would be most convenient as it would dilute the Israeli shareholding in AFN.
All this matters here. of course, because of our 17%+ share in AFN.....

Interesting RNS activity in the last couple of weeks.
Today's "potential overseas partner" I'm guessing is not part of the Israeli group and more friendly to keeping Clem as chairman - this move would dilute the hostile vote against him? Just guessing...

I believe 12 months of hype in BRH has been driven by the gospel of St. Smythe and the belief that a COVID test would make us millions.
Today we have seen Boris finally wave goodbye to COVID (for better or worse) and it's put the final nail in the coffin for the COVID speculators - all the COVID test stocks are suffering, not just BRH.
I keep fighting this because BRH is an investment company and people who REALLY understand that can see that TB and his team will drink first from the well and the rest of us will get the scraps, but those "scraps" from Phasefocus and other Paraytec innovations should still make us a bit of money over a 12-18 month period. That doesn't suit the ramper narrative or the trader dream, hence I get abuse, but will see LTH's get closer to breakeven over 2022/23 (I hope).

The supply of shares that people can sell below 5p and still make a profit is very small - it's basically a few at Monecor and the latest directors shares. If they aren't selling that says buckets :-)
That's why I believe 5p is the new floor. Beyond that then you get into Mr 10% and the placings, which could bail at anything towards 6p-7p who knows!

I'm not having a pop - we're all fed up, but the market has taken hits today both from general Ukraine fears but specifically COVID test abandonment. The split right now IS a function of supply and demand, if this price was unfairly low you could fill your boots today. Last week I wish I'd sold when I had my trigger finger itchy at 23p - I didn't. My bad.

Time and patience. Don't be distracted by pumps, ramps and theories. Keep your eye on RNS activity - most likely Phasefocus (and NOT COVID dreams IMHO). There's life here if good news drops.

PS - AFN has fallen after results end of last week and OBC's biggest balance sheet asset is a stake in AFN.

We can't expect a smooth ride, volatility is part of the deal with a microcap share.
It's the destination that matters and news flow has been great with more to come I believe.

The announcement will come soon no doubt, we're just seeing a "risk off" approach to the markets this morning, it's a cold Eastern wind blowing over us first thing today.
