Just went back and reread the flash note just to back up my post.

Persuming AxCap had some sort of baseline finance deal BP could attract to work out the estimated FCF, I take this as having freecashflow of $12m-$18m per annum after servicing monthly cash burn and debt. This would put VAST in a position they haven't been in before having massive cashflow and a strong asset to underpin it.

I agree, however at the minute given the controversy and delicate intricacies of the Zim deal I'm sort of ignoring it untill we get a solid understand of it definitely going ahead or not so I'd rather base my decision soley on what BP can offer. If the situation in Zim gets sorted then it will be icing on the cake and just means that the x5 upside will be smashed a lot quicker.

Also agree with your 2nd point, BP coming online and becoming a cashflow generative company opens alot of doors which AP has expressed in past interviews. For example BP cashflowing will allow them to explore their other projects such as blueberry and bring additional revenue streams online creating a sort of snowballing effect. This would push us into the midteir mining company stage which opens more doors itself. With multiple successful revenue streams from established mines it becomes alot easier gain access to other opportunites that are otherwise inaccessable to small mining exploration companies. Of course that is all years down the line but helps highlight how BP can be a pivotal moment in VAST's development going forward.

I agree, our current MCAP offers alot more value for potential growth, however with the extra value comes extra risk. I hold positions in both but the way I see it
VAST = Potential of x5 from current levels with a medium amount of risk
GGP = Potentail of x1, maybe x2, from current levels with a low amount of risk

Please don't compare us to GGP

GGP has a massive partner covering pretty much most of the drilling and operational costs for Haverion, which has unproven but predicted deposits totally a couple of billion worth of gold, one of the biggest gold finds known in the modern day. GGP could and probably will easily reach a 1b MCAP without any real risk to themselves given the asset size. They haven't got any massive debt obligations currently and have the possiblity of farm in agreements if required.

But realistically those SP valuations mean nothing as they don't take into account company outstanding debt/profit ratio. The only way BP is getting us to 2p is if we get the refinance package. While I agree we are vastly (no pun intended) undervalued give the asset size of BP compared to our MCAP, we won't realise that untill the finance that ringfences it should we fail to make payment goes away. You also have to realise, yes BP will be in production from July however that doesn't mean it is imediately cash generative given processing times etc. Even after that it remains to be seen whether it will be cashflow positive after servicing debt (considering no refinace option and no diamonds) and ongoing running costs.

Another rough day in the markets, hopefully we can keep in the 20s for now

Seems like they are fairly positive on refinance based on BP once JORC results are finalised anyway

You do realise the financing package has multiple tranches that can be drawndown when certain milestones are hit? And that the majority of infrastructure required for the concession area is already in place would just need restoring to some degree to be functional?
I think you need to take a look at your research again before making claims....

Why would we need to raise for diamonds when we have a financing package deal that includes projected costs for diamonds?

I wouldn't be surprised if the NDA in place is that they dropped the court case and agreed to not seek the historical diamond claim in return for mining rights

3p is pure rampy, focus on getting 1p first, 3p only comes with diamonds and a year or 2 down the line

MCAP currently 26M, BBP asset worth around 100M conservative? But offset debt against the asset as currently BP is collateral for Atlas. Only once we are out of such a finance deal would the full value be realised.

The terms are very loosely thrown around on the boards these days, people take critical thoughts as deramping and people post predictions of 10x SP and get called rampers. Just a matter of weeding out the facts. Most of the regulars that were shouting everyday that zim was getting signed tomorrow have me filtered by now

The big defining factor of how far the SP will go will be a refinancing deal. Otherwise even with BP in production majority of cash flow will be used towards debt payoff rather than exploring on hold projects like blueberry

I agree, fundamentals will bring the SP back up to a reasonable level, I just think the RNS for sales will be make or break
