Really!? The HCI bond and DX company purchases would have had Board approval. I doubt it was his decision alone. The more I think about it the more I think he felt threatened by CC coming on board. Remember she was brought in some time ago. She possibly highlighted his weaknesses in Board meetings etc. I suspect he resigned rather than got pushed as he saw the writing on the wall.

There are deals and there are deals...ones in the early stage, mid stage and done stage.

Companies always have early stage deals on the go...nothing signed but plenty of discussions.

Companies often get to a mid stage where a MOU for example is signed. Then there are the final completed deals...the end goal.

We have deals in place already which many seem to forget on here but they too are based on trials coming good etc.

AVACTA'S PreCision tech has still to get through trial stages and the deal makers know this and will be most likely just holding off until they see at least the 2W data and then it might only lead to an MOU type deal. Anything else from a Pharma would be a huge leap of faith and who is willing to jump first????

All depends if you think DX is a good vehicle to get Affimers better known/utilised.

Avacta has PreCision and Affimer tech which are up against big yet less effective alternatives right now. If the get a range of Affimer based tests out there this might help the tech become more attractive to Pharma.

DX doezn't have to be just a side show...abd eggs all in one basket is never a good approach unless a huge deal is struck based with the previso DX is dumped...

Too many unknowns right now.

From my discusdions with one or two AIM listed company FD's...they have said they have a big input into RNSs financial or otherwise.

Mu guess is the FD has talen 2 weeks holiday...last week and this week so no RNS's until he's back next week.

If they weren't happy with what was happening in the US 2W study they would not have given the go ahead to start recruiting in the UK.
