B2HS2L...drat...you beat me to it...yes a RTO which again is how I think Avacta will get their Nazdaq Listing. They just need to find a company like GlycoMimetics. Now is our new Broker working on such a deal and book building for a simultanious IPO. If they are, such a deal could be announccoed at any time without notice. Another interesting point is that GlycoMimetics back in 2014 did a 3 Poster presentation at the AACR. Again who suggested 3 Posters this time...

This is why Pharma are so cautious and often prefer to do simple Partnership deals with milestone payments to see how trials pan out before spending billions.

Opti_mystic...that's why I pointed you to the Pfizer deal done with the new FD'z company. The Pharma gets some control of the trials etc for £m's milestone payments which help keep Avacta afloat and able to conduct further R&D and Avacta keeps the IP. If trials pan out ghen a TO deal can be done later. This is basically an Alliance Agreement which I've talked about before.

Re Point...Lilly appear to have farmed them in and gone dark...!!

Personally I think the Board is trying to get one more Performance Related Partnership deals like the one our new FD was involved in and I highlighted before plus a Nasdaq listing so that all the US members of the Avacta Team can base themselves permanently Stateside. Now what they do with the UK listing/office etc would depend on the Partnership(s) deals. Look at the Point Psrtnership deal and whst happened there and whst are Lilly doing with it all now...have they put most of it to bed or are they progressing everything...who knows!!!

And from a BP point of view why not offer £5bn now rather than £10bn in a few months time...!!!?

A LOI might do the trick too plus sealing the final DX deal which will brimg in a few quid but also reduce outgoings. Finance is not the real problem for Avacta it's the economic outlook which is a factor auditors take into account and it all depends on thumbs in the air.

Interesting how around 800,000 shares have gone through at 31 right on the mid today.

Remember how I said I saw a large trade go through a couple of days ago and it disappeared well my guess is this is the back end of that trade...It was a buy and these are the sells going through. They're doing it at the mid and in bits to prevent the price diving...sneaky blinders...

'There are still AIM companies keen to gain a Nasdaq listing, however. Redx Pharma was going to reverse into Nasdaq-listed Jounce Therapeutics, which develops treatments for cancer and had cash that would have given the combined group at least $130 million of funds for drug development. However, Concentra Biosciences came up with a recommended cash bid for Jounce.

Spectral MD Holdings Ltd (LSE:SMD) is merging with Nasdaq-listed special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) Rosecliff Acquisition Corp 1. This deal will provide cash to finance the commercialisation of the DeepView wound-care analysis technology. The deal values US-based Spectral MD at $170 million, or 101p a share – the June 2021 placing price was 59p.

Proton therapy cancer treatment developer Advanced Oncotherapy (LSE:AVO) is considering a Nasdaq listing as a way of raising the cash it requires, but this could be fanciful. OptiBiotix Health OPTI 3.90% and cancer diagnostics device developer ANGLE AGL 8.11% have both talked about a Nasdaq listing in the past but have put that to one side given current market conditions.'

OK this is some time ago but it's the company our new FD worked for.

'Under the terms of its agreement with Pfizer, GlycoMimetics is entitled to receive a milestone payment of $35.0 million upon the initiation of dosing of the first patient with the drug candidate rivipansel (GMI-1070) in a Phase 3 trial, which Pfizer will conduct. Under the agreement, GlycoMimetics is also entitled to receive a $15.0 million advance against this milestone payment if the first patient was not dosed by April 2014. The company currently expects to receive the $15.0 million advance payment from Pfizer in the second quarter of 2014 and the initiation of the Phase 3 clinical trial in the second half of 2014.'

VR..mmost deals are't signed until st least P2...

Markets and Serious Investors don't like P1s because they are small numbers and only cover safety....far too risky.

Going into P2 with good efficacy already clocked from a P1 is key for Avacta getting a deal.
