For those interested in where Avacta might be in 5 years time...take a look at Verona Pharmas News section on their site from around August 2020.

It's a company we might be able to draw some comparisons from but also watch out for a Nasdaq Listing (OK so ours has been put on hold but you know that's what our very American Board will be looking towards). Verona pushed ahead with their P3 after receiving a letter from the FDA. They listed on Nasdaq and raised around €200m in a closed Sub and the main Directors were 'encouraged' to also participate with some quite large amounts. In Sept 2020 they delisted on AIM (not sure how their UK PI's felt about this as shares were offered on a swop basis and then only traded through Nasdaq thereafter). They got their main product to market, continued to push a couple more products into clinic and had some great income from it and bingo today some 5 years after their AIM delisting they got taken out by Merck.

B2 would a Coris sale RNS help?..that would give them a cash injection and means to pay this coming Qrtly in cash.

How can they force/impose a lock in price.

The difference between RH's target market and Heights is the former will be investing based on future company performance and will take a medium to long term view. Whereas the latter doesn't give a pop...they just want to turn the shares ASAP to get their money back...

A different company but a good explanation as to how such schemes may benefit the investor etc...

Steadyman..sorry sweatpea but what don't you understand about income generating licence deals and partnerships...plural.

Yet again I refer back to all the doubters who sold out before ARM started to stack up the licencing deals with some of the biggest players in the tech world and it was several years and many deals later before they got taken over. Each new deal acted as a means of protection as it turned out...and those PIs who sold out early missed the boat big time.

Now..will we get the deal done RNS for Coris this week or next. That should help if what we were told holds true that pure play is what some deal makers/specialist investors might be waiting for. In the case of the latter particularly.

So it sounds like Zeus will be used to viver Qrtly in cash for next coiple of paymrntd giving David Bryant times to get his guys sorted andcready with gheir fund to provide large funding to cover next phases Avacta want/need to finance plus buying down Heights. Deals will be cream on top and the more data potentially the better the deal(s).

I wonder how much this para will change in next Qrtly payment RNS...especially re Nasdaq. Previous RNSs said there wwould be further updates in coming months re Nasdaq listing but those words were dropped in last one...again it's not what was said but what wasn't and there was no mention of possible Nasdaq listing in AGM that I could see...why? If it's going to be dropped then why such an emphasis on US Directors and Nasdaq Listing experience etc...has Darlene done all she could to set it up or is it now a dead duck? Confused dot com!!!🤣
