Well the £/€ chart has a clear double bottom and the tables have turned this morning...

MrsKOB...if you look at the exchange rate chart, the it has been going down slowing all year...OK the recent drop has been a bit steeper but the overall direction was downward. Now if you believe big Pharma will now see Avacta as a cheap pick up, then surely others will see UK businesses etc as cheap and will flood in with their investment money...isn't that what the Conservatives want? Inward investment from external sources???
The Pound/Euro likewise...you get a lot more pounds for your Euro too so perhaps European based Pharma might be interested...
Ooooo! a bidding war...!!! Ha ha...I doubt it...unless it goes hostile and that's unlikely right now. Licencing deal(s0 for the AVA6000 pipeline is far more likely and/or Joint Ventures/Alliance Agreements.
But hey, it's only my opinion and I could be wrong...

Mr R...we have Interims end Sept...do you not think we will get an update then with full data being published early 2023. Hopefully between full data publishing and update end Sept we will get a licencing deal RNS.
Avacta is not bound by blind trial rules and will have to inform the markets of any significant news...hence my feeling they will update end Sept...if not before...

marker testing not market testing...grrr

Surely the key factor is tumour reduction/destruction. Dox is given to do just that...kill tumour cells which in turn should reduce/distroy the tumour(s) wherever they might be in the body. They way oncologists verify this is market testing (ACE etc) and regular scanning (PET being the best). The problem with Dox is the side effects which are horrendous and most peoples poor bodies are not able to tolerate the higher dosages meaning the dosage isn't great enough to really do it's job and due to the face the dox until now is not targeted towards tumour cells only it, as we all know, can attack healthy cells etc so many die of related effects not the actual cancer.

THERE IS NO WAY OUR AVA6000 TRIAL WOULD BE CONTINUING IF IT WASN'T
a) Being tolerated at least as much as dox on it's own.
b) Showing a positive effect on the cancer cells.

a) on it's own is no reason at all to continue the trial.
b) for me is the key...

It's also an open trial so Avacta can give us updates whenever they wish...they have also said they will be looking for a Pharma licencing deal and I'm sure that Pharma is receiving details of the trial as it unfolds and a deal will be announced before publication of full trial results.

Personally I would much rather Avacta get licencing deals with several Pharmas for their pipeline which would grown our SP nicely then the bidding war can commence.
We would not reap anywhere near the rewards right now.

We were also told we would get an update towards end Q3 which I suspect will be end Sep in results RNS and full published findings thereafter...anywhere from end Oct to early New Year.

Possible up front licencing deal(s) could help/finance next trial phase if there are other licencing deals being worked on.

Mr R...there is also the possibility of a joint venture/manufacturing agreement/AA with a pharma...paid for with shares and/or royalies/profit share against sales.
I don't think Avacta will need to fundraise

If you are dosing people with no other options and the clinicians are seeing tumour reduction, no side effects or at worst itsy bitsy ones and your patients are still alive then why wouldn't you do everything posdible to be ready for next DE/ cohort...we're not talking throw away mice here, this is about human lives and nobody is going to make them suffer unduly or at worst die sooner than they need to...

It's working and they know it...

Valueinv...it's not a closed trial. Avacta may still release initial data based on 1, 2 and/or 3 cohorts. They don't have to wait for 4th cohort...
They did say...further updates...
So I read that to mean it could include some data aspects especially if tgey are wishing to prrsent some data at upcoming conferences...they will have to make such data available to shareholders too if it is significant...we will see.

O&W...'If the news here today is so good, why is the sp now being marked down?' Because they're all working from home and can't be bothered to get up early...and perhaps that's why the LSE site is behind the curve today...+5.25% right now.
