Alfista...you're missing the point...DSM is throwing the burden of costs/receivables back to Provexis. They just want to buy it in now as a raw material. It's a portfolio filler for them. As you well know, selling is not just about 'we have it so they must want it' and Fruitflow has always been a hard sell. In the short term yes PXS will see an increase in profits but are they geared up to carry the paper, service the clients, talk formulations etc...Will they be able to carry the paper for the likes of Bi-Health as and when it comes good. These are serious questions shareholders should be asking the company. The new PXS Distributor was asked to pay upfront...that's smart but most companies work on terms. PXS has not exactly made a huge success of FF+O in the UK.

Alfista...at the moment PXS gets a % share of the profits (we don't know how much of course) of all sales of FF made by DSM this includes the sales of FF to PXS for PXS's own FF+O...so each Order PXS places for their own FF+O gets a % share of DSM profits on the FF content. From 1 Jan 2023 PXS will be responsible for all the raw material purchases, production and sales costs on one hand and they will be taking on the Receivable too. They will no longer get the % share of profit back against their own orders for FF+O but one would hope they will see (as you rightly point out a greater share of the FF profit themselves. It's a loss against the current AA not necessarily a loss under the new agreement. It's all peanuts though considering the new costs and receivables PXS will be taking on.

FF is produced in batches...the manufacturer only takes orders for full batches.
PXS gets a percentage in the current AA for the FF content of their own FF+O caps. This will be lost in the new deal.
The new agreement doesnt kick in until 1 Jan 2023 so it's effect won't be seen until Y/E 2022/23 results next year but mainly in 2023/2024 half year.
Who makes FF+O caps and box them for PXS...Gixer didn't we think this was a service provided by DSM? Whoever it is they provide same service for PXS's Chinese Distributor. Do we know how well he's doing?
Servicing existing accounts with FF might not be too difficult but growing new ones will be a hill to climb with existing PXS personnel...not been very successful with own product in the UK to date...
Looking at the trading band PXS has been in and the fact they are no longer listed on the DSMV site it does look like DSM might be working a get out through a friendly third party.

CautiousO...if a buyer comes along wanting 500k of shares they will often give a narrow acceptable price range. The broker will then work on getting said shares and this is where it gets worked...can take more than just a few days...

Well it does look like another work through is taking place as we speak...proof in pudding will be another big buy later today...

We might get an RNS tomorrow morning...companies often put one out to keep shareholders attending the AGM happy and allow for some added meat and bones in discussions with them at the AGM...anyone on here going???

Great news to see PXS bring Fruitflow back in house as a raw material...however, they will now be responsible for the Receivables and maintaining/expanding sales. Many of the companies who launched products containing fruitflow fell at the first hurdle. I think Gixer might still have an idea of who is actively still out there.
Now the DSM reins are off and if Bi-Heath products are successful then IF might be persuaded to take early retirement...

They would most likely have to RNS recruiting for 1b as it's a significant step...1b can only start after 1a has been established unless they feel confident enough in 1a upcoming results that they can start recruiting in advance for 1b knowing how long it can take to find the perfect candidates...even though we are talking trial lives/extensions thereof are still at stake here and as it's an open trial there might be more leeway to pull recruiting for 1b forward.

Re the AGM...it would be nice to have a little good news at the same time but suspect we will just get news as it happens. Anyone attending the AGM might be able to throw in some questions and report back the responses. Having attended several AGMs the general networking with other attendees can be mire informative.

Mr. A not putting the hospital might just be a way to stop people trying to go around the likes of Patientwing and/or to stop people calling the hospital(s) direct trying to get onto the trial without being pre-qualified first. Who knows eh?

Based on the Key Exclusion Criteria our trial must be quite hard to fill...it must be so hard for those who can't apply due to just one or two exclusion criteria... but that's trials they have to draw lines.

Runner Runner...I did not say relaunch a Covid LFT...I do belive they will relaunch a LFT but it will be to highlight the effectiveness of affimers and how they can be used by a doctor to quickly test for a specific virus and they will probably be targeting LFT manufacturers rather than an Avacta Covid test. It's not about a home grown LFT test but rather proof of concept for affimers accuracy.

Mr. A...or next week when everyone is back off holiday which would in fact be the best time. News this week is not a good idea unless they have to put it out due to market regs...News next week is good as people return on a high from their Jubilee celebrations and holidays (assuming they can get back due to flight cancellations etc).

This week is a holiday for many and I suspect many at Avacta are taking this week off too...
The following bit of news brought to our attention by a PI on here may not be earth shattering but is certainly newsworthy and should have at least been put out as a Press Release if not an RNS.
'Samsung Seoul hospital
Apicell Therapeutics (CEO Jeon Seung-ho, Yoo Jong-sang), a joint venture between Daewoong Pharmaceutical and British Avacta, signed an MOU for joint research cooperation with Samsung Seoul Hospital (President Park Seung-woo) for ‘innovative research and development in the field of cell and gene therapy’. ) was signed on the 31st.'

I did raise the matter with our dear friends at fti Consulting only to receive the following bland response:

Perhaps it slipped through the cracks at Avacta if those responsible are on holiday...if so, perhaps we might see something on this next week, if not sooner.

All this BS from fti about 'the company having a strong commitment to market communication' really ticks me off since they are the ones who are being paid a hefty fee to do this and liaise with shareholders and yet they haven't even got the courtesy to add a name to the bottom of their response...

Mr. R...it all depends who their new friends are in and around White City...they say they want to keep it for themselves and they of course can and these days it's extremely easy to strike a contract manufacturing. However there is also the possibility of an AA with a Pharma whereby Avacta keeps the IP, does the ongoing research, trials and maintains trademarkets etc and the Pharma does all the sales and marketing/manufacturing (or contracts out). Avacta would gets a profit share or royalty plus possible performance payments and the Pharma gets first pick of future research/trial outcomes etc.

Wiggly...'If we now regard further commercial partnerships and license arrangements (both the therapeutics and interestingly other markets) we must surely be locked in active discussions not yet disclosed to the market...'

Why add this para to their website? What are they signalling...who are they signalling?

The likes of Apple, Google, Amazon etc have far more control over your daily lives and these are unelected global entities who now dictate and disrupt without there being any accountability whatsoever.
You should be screaming about the data harvesting which now controls pretty much everything we do...even Govts today make billions on selling data which they collected from you...grrrr...don't get me started on this one.
